  1. When you email you get an automated response that your email has been received :) I don't really want MN having my postal address, I own dogs...
  2. On that link I put up also look at "Incorporation and change of name" it explains some basics of incorporation
  3. My link On this link click on the PDF called "Access to Information" under the section "Charity Fact sheets and Guidelines". It is actually very well written and easy to understand exactly what they have to make public. Be aware they can charge you a small fee for this info, I am prepared to pay it. Here is the email I have sent them. Pound Rounds 9 Brisbane Pl Cromer NSW 2099 18/01/2013 To whom it may concern; I request a copy of the following documents with reference to your Charitable Fundraising Number 22083. The last annual audited statement of accounts The organisations objects and constitution The names, qualifications and occupations of the members of the governing body of the organisation Please forward these documents to my email
  4. They have to provide their annual audits from the past 7 years, within 30 days, to any member of the public when requested
  5. The dog in question was removed from the website earlier today as far as I can tell
  6. Yes. They have a charitable fundraising licence link and are a charitible insitituition with deductible gift recipient status link
  7. Blacktown Animal Holding Facility is the name of the pound
  8. Seems just like what Animal Ark have been doing. They opened in VIC at the end of November, I was interested to see how if would work, not that I can visit as I am in Sydney. Animal Ark Pet Supplies Although in saying that is does seem quite similar to what the RSCPA are doing at their retail branches ( I think they call them care centres?) Still not sure how I feel about it, I can see pluses and minuses for both sides of the argument. It would be good if they could track the animals sold long term to see if the surrender/euth rates were any lower than from a normal pet store.
  9. Great photos everyone! tlc - I love the outtakes, they have so much character!
  10. Just beautiful Evolving! You must be so proud of Alera she has been such a good mummy to them all.
  11. Would you consider buying chicken and mincing it yourself? Then you can control the amount of fat and bone in it. I buy mine from Cordina Farms factory outlet at Girraween. They sell all the parts of the chicken. Carcass, necks, feet, heart etc. I suppose they sell mince as well but I have never noticed as I always like to buy whole and mince it myself.
  12. My sibe likes to eat her hair once I brush it out of her. Very wierd, I don't understand why. I don't like her eating it cos I worry she will get hair balls like the cat. My backyad looks like yours MUP, only my yard is much smaller so it looks much more intense, the birds do take some away to make nests with, but not enough!
  13. That's great thanks for posting! Although you may have just helped me be a few thousand dollars poorer
  14. ahhh no!!! I know right! She was in temp foster care and when she went to her permenant foster carers they were told she likes to steal things from the bathroom. The full extent of the stealing however may have not been realised until this incident.
  15. Snowy loves any tissue and yes, it can be snotty ones too Yup I get this with my girl Athena too. Walkies involves me constantly on the lookout for dirty tissues, I don't wanna know what diseases could be in the ones lying on the streets and I defintiely don't want to be pulling them out of her mouth I do know of a dog that would quickly nick the toilet paper out of the toilet whilst someone was turning around to flush after they had done their business!
  16. I love the meerkats! I am zoo jinxed every single time I go to the zoo, anywhere in the world, it absolutely pours.
  17. I had a black cat called Blackie  In my defense she was mine and I named her, at age 7  I had a ginger cat named... you guessed it, Ginger, I was 5 when I named her. When I was 7 I named a cat smoogey
  18. Oh my God. I am so sorry for your loss, that is devastating and I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now. There are no words I can say that will make it better.
  19. I noticed a Marie Evans starting commenting on a lot of resuce/pound FB sites about the same time as she started wildly posting on here, can't find the posts now but I'm pretty sure it was the same person.
  20. Shyla is a rescue, not one of mine, sorry I should have made it clearer. Mine are Salt and Athena. She does look so much like my boy though who was entire before he came to rescue and they are from the same area so we think she could be related. I am using a Canon 40D and was using a Canon EF-S 17-85mm f4/5.6 (RIP) will now be using a 28-105mm. I am going to try not to use any iPhone snaps.
  21. So since my lens appears to have had a fatal error yesterday and I didn't get any photo's of my dogs yet I won't be doing one of my own dogs. I would like to do a different rescue dog each week but since I probably won't get out to the kennels every weekend I think there will be a few of my two as well. 1/52 - Shyla
