  1. Miah is absolutely gorgeous. Rally o is really easy to trial in unlike other sports and it doesn't require as much training I've found. Especially if your dog is responsive!
  2. I agree with you. I'm on the fence and it would depend on the situation. I think everyone has learnt a lesson here of some sort.
  3. Heard about this a few weeks ago. I agree with needing regulations. It's almost impossible to know who to trust in the grooming world, not even for safety but for not clipping double costed breeds etc.. I am so glad this dog survived but it would have been a horrible ordeal..
  4. Hope Treble is okay. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way...
  5. I really like the idea of a playpen set up. Something to keep in mind for the future for me.... I would be thinking about ways to separate puppies toys from the baby too. As he'll want to start playing with them and if there is any sort of possession guarding it could trigger something bad.
  6. Poor Daisy. I hope she's okay and this was just a once off.
  7. That's incredibly scary. I put locks on the gates because I became overly paranoid about someone coming in the backyard to take the dogs or break into the house. As our backyard gates are only really used on weekends it hasn't caused us too much grief coming and going.
  8. Would report it too. I'm glad you're okay. Make sure you reward puppy lots next walk so he doesn't associate it with crazy dogs.
  9. That's brilliant! I hardly use collars but it would suit him. Envy has grown up a lot. She is looking beautiful and very fit!
  10. Sounds like you're doing a great job. Cooked pumpkin is also another thing you could use as a substitute. Freezes really well.
  11. She is gorgeous! It's wonderful that your parents have the time she needs.
  12. That's such great news. I often leave classes part way give the dog a run or a play and then go back to class just to break it up. I always explain at the start so there isn't an assumption I'm being rude.
  13. I think I'm developing an addiction to buying toys for the dogs. It's just so adorable watching Atticus play that I can't help it. I also had a look back through and those tags are gorgeous. I can't have them on mine though unless I'm supervising because they would probably get eaten. Lisa where a outs are you looking for rolled leather collars? That sounds like a really lovely accessorie... More temptation.
  14. That's how we party every night! And I'm at uni... Fighting the stereotype!
  15. I don't seem to find them in the paws but they get them in their tails and pants and it's a pain. Best thing we found for our dog when I was growing up was to keep her paws trimmed nice and short.
  16. I saw them at pet stock yesterday. Not sure if there is one near you.
  17. Poor Hank! You were doing the right thing trying to keep him cool. It could be anything. Maybe he scraped himself a little? Don't worry too much.
  18. I have a gift voucher for Peter Alexander left over from Christmas. But I can never work out if the novelty will wear off. Might just have to have a look at these otherwise it'll expire!
  19. Brilliant!. I wonder if this could be a new tactic for getting my neighbours little dogs to stop barking... Throw a pig head over the fence and scare it back Minside.
  20. Don't get me wrong I love doing the same with strange organs and veggies, but it's the eyes that'll be staring at me from the lawn!
  21. Pretty sure the op wasn't taking this seriously. Because well, it's pretty easy not too. They asked if anyone else had found something 'nice'? I haven't particularly read anything but I did come across a butcher the other day selling pigs heads. And whilst my dogs would love them I would not... There is a line a vegetarian can't cross for her dogs.
  22. I have another question. I want to enter a show that according to the calendar should be closed to entries. However it's still open on ozentries. Is it okay to enter?
  23. Thanks Lisa! That's so lovely that you compiled them. I am happy with his weight at the moment. But I think she was more trying to tell me that even leaner is better at the moment. He does have a waist and a nice tummy tuck and looks tiny when washed. Atti is already smaller than his brother. She said that we can play it by ear so there is no definite number to lose. And see how he is looking. If he was a pet pet then she would treat him differently and he would be considered normal but as (hopefully) a performance dog than we are being overly cautious. It's been a day and I'm a bit emotional. How silly!?
  24. That's sort of what she said about the weight that it'll help him now if he is a little lighter. I keep such a close eye on him that I didn't think he was fat. He is in a word growing phase right now.
