Thanks for all the info, He has had the tie taken out and is off to a specialist end of the week. The vet who took it out (different to the one who put it in) was annoyed they hadnt said to go to a specialist sooner..they now wont give the vet records to the new vet either.

Hey All I have been contacted by a friend of mine who has a dog who has had his third ACL..she is after some help as she isnt sure what is the best thing to do.. Oak has just had his third ACL opp 3 weeks ago and they are saying he is reacting to the tie (false ligament they put in ) which is why the hasnt been able to heal from each opp . They now want to take it out on Monday as they believe he has enough scar tissue holding his leg together !! Does this sound right ???? Thanks for the help

after the 7 i narrowed it down to, they are all booked out except 2 so going to inspect and see what i think. loopy lola house sitter wouldnt work with the 3 here and id prefer them to be in a kennel, peace of mind, wont get out etc.

Do you mean you want them to have access to a large grass area ll of the time?? Or you would be happy with an outdoor run as long as they had access at least twice a day to a large grass run? Great thread, i am going through this at the moment. My 2 have never been boarded so trying to find some where i am happy with. A small little outdoor run isnt something im keen on, i want a bigger area that they can have a good run and zoomies. Not against them being with other dogs unless its supervised.

Dont get a Leonberger if you dont like; LOTS AND LOTS OF FUR EVERYWHERE..you vacuum and mop and its still everywhere! your dogs being dirty 24/7, le's love to roll in dirt! You cannot have a swim in your pool in quiet..they HAVE to be in the pool with you not watching by the sidelines!
