This was something I considered as I do feel for the dogs in these centers, however, the issue with papers and not knowing anything about potential health issues was a concern and also my kids want a puppy which aren't always available. I do keep an eye out at what is available though

Ironklad and Mischiefmaka make my favourite ASTs. One day... Didn't know the OP was willing to travel. ETA: Ironklad is Amstaff_Ambition. She posted some pics in the Amstaff thread recently. I had looked at Mischiefmake previously, however, there seems to be probs with their site just now. I will travel if necessary for the right dog, however, would rather avoid it if possible as it would be difficult to arrange what with 2 kids and work

Cheers pal, yeh that's what I've been doing, just didn't want to have to travel to Perth or Melbourne etc for one, but suppose I can always look into having it delivered, although NSW wouldn't be too bad. Just want to make sure it ticks all the boxes in terms of health, temperament and looks etc. Cheers J

Hi, I'm looking to get an Amstaff and have contacted a number of breeders for details of upcoming litters, however, as of yet haven't heard anything In the meantime, can anyone possibly recommend some good reputable breeders in and around Brisbane, although I would be willing to travel as long as it was within driving distence!! Also, as I've just moved heree from overseas, I have no idea how much I should expect to pay for a puppy so if anyone can give me an idea that would be great. Cheers J
