If anyone needs dogs dropped off to the Raymond Terrace area on Wednesday evening from the Cootamundra/Wagga area or Dogs picked up from the Medowie/Raymond Terrace area to the Cootamundra/Wagga area on friday/Saturday, I'll be heading up that way. I'm taking one little dog up for DRN but could fit another couple small to medium or one large in if needs be. They'll be in the car with us the whole time but due to where we'll be staying would have to be picked up on Wednesday evening from the Seaham area. Friday is flexible as we can pick it up on our way home :). pm me if interested. Note: Dogs must not be reactive to people singing along with Edith Piaff. :D

It didn't state how long she'd owned the dogs though and which dogs were rescued and which were hers, so really it's all conjecture. Poor girl.

I'm pretty sure the police and coroner have correctly identified the cause. Let's just mourn for this fellow animal lover who was sadly taken too soon, doing great things for the dogs she loved. it's a tragedy
-
Just a tragedy, someone trying to do good and being killed by the thing she tried to save. As someone who is 24 and have taken in many different breed to rehome over the years, I would never put myself in that situation with that many powerful breeds, even if she grew up with these breeds, she didn't know these particular dogs and their backgrounds, presas are very sensitive and can easily be triggered into aggression by seemingly normal activities, I worked with someone that knew them well. It's devastating that someone my own age with a similar love of animals was taken so tragically in I imagine full avoidable circumstances. The lady i spoke to said she'd never have Presas with other dogs as they feed off and tend to overreact, that is probably what happened and then pack mentality set in, but I guess we will never know and at the end of the day a beautiful life was lost RIP

I have two friends with Goldens, one has a Border Collie bitch with her male golden and the other has a female golden, Min Pin and Japanese SpitzX I think. -
My friend had a long haired kelpie cross BC growing up, his name was biscuit and he was pure red with one white toe. Gorgeous looking boy.
-
it must be so hard to give him up! He reminds me of a friend's GSD also called Ollie (How about that) he passed away a few years ago but he was just the most gorgeous huggable big thing. Good luck Ollie with your forever home!

Thanks, she seems very alert and her hearing is fine, so crossing fingers she didn't inherit any health issues.

The pound can get some very large pigging type dogs in, alot of scruffers and dane crosses in these parts. So 70cm will probably come in useful at some point. -

Just a bit concerned, if she is merle to merle what does that mean for her health wise?
-
Well she came from pretty shoddy people so I wouldn't be surprised :/
