Well isn't a forum made up of the people on it and the people on it often have things going on in their life that is dog related. If this forum stuck to one subject of purebred dogs and nothing else it would be quite boring. The people on here make it eclectic and colourful and yes some things are repetitive, some things are annoying, some things are hilarious, some things are very informative and others are just space fillers. A forum is a community of sorts and I guess everyone is different int he community and wants to talk about their own thing. Forums and online in general can also provide a great venting ground.

That's good then, Yes it's a surprise to me as the only native mammals I know allowed legally are Spinifex Hopping Mice and they're with a license... Any way. I've only seen one gumtree thing here about a pug I think, the other two or three were in the Rescue section.

You can just avoid the thread though.

our neighbours had one, she was a lovely girl and no trouble. she didnt even go after the neighbours chooks either. Maybe jack russels have dingo hunting instincts in em? mentally at least anyway although as I understand it, that is definately not the norm and can jump like a stag if they decide too. but then my border collie was discovered to be able to clear 7 feet when he wanted too. good fencing might be a sensible idea. Haha, I had a foster dogt hat could clear a 7ft fence, she had internal springs I swear. The Dingoes at the park had 12 foot cyclone wire fencing dug in 1.5 meters or something, but there was 8 of them so... Oh where's that? Nowra Wildlife Park

Sorry about the dingo post, didn't mean to annoy anyone.

It sounds a bit like cushings but without a full blood screening it's impossible to know

Well we only saw what we saw and from that I would agree that until he took the dog in hand appropriately the dog shouldn't have been trusted around the baby but afterwards he looked like a much less wild member of society.

The white one looks very pure....it's love! I WANT ALL THE DINGOES!
-
But the whole point was that he was giving the husky what it needed by the end of the show and the dog looked much more relaxed and obedient.

I've heard they're similar to the Shiba Temp to train? Is that true?

The raptors of the dog world  My cat would be very jealous of that

Are you saying that people with Huskies shouldn't have children? If people train, exercise and give their husky a proper outlet it shouldn't be an issue. I agree about the cat, I rewatched it and saw the just looking...that is the general attitude of a lot of working dog trainer sand owners I know though, kinda lackadaisical. Poor kitteh

When I worked in an animal park a few years back I loved the Dingoes, they're beautiful natured, I used to hang out with them, there's definitely something there that can't be harnessed, just has to be admired. They're beautiful. I think a lot of people get them because they want something different, or it could be the attention they get fro having a dingo, or maybe they just love their temperament.

Ok cool, they looked very cute and it was in NSW, just wanted to check as I hate to see native animals being exploited. Thank you
-
Is it legal to sell dingoes advertised as purebred? I didn't think you could sell native animals? I just saw an ad for Purebred dingo pups.

Hahaha, that reminds of the pic in the lol thread where the girl asked for the motorcycle to be removed so they removed the motorcycle and left the guy sitting in midair lol.
-
I'd say so. It just goes to show how even well trained dogs can regress when they have no leadership.
-
I'd say so, those dogs were getting serious!
-
As far as I saw with the cat the owners were inside and the wife came outside as the dogs neared the veranda and immediately intervened. And Huskies can be kept in relatively small areas as long as they get the required exercise and mental stimulation. That light tan larger dog Kim had will cause some problems I think, it's a very strong dog for her.

Oh wow I didn't catch his last name, I've spoken to him a few times. Nice guy
