Granted, the OP was just driving past. There could have been anything in the cup. The OP said coffee in their post and they didnt also seem concerned that it COULD be coffee but instead that theres dog spit on th spoon. Regardless of what it was, the OP wasnt concerned that it could be coffee, and I was commenting as to thats what I would be worried about.

Can you go to another Kennel?

I had a Rotti who lived to 12 years old. I started to consider him old at about the age of 9. But he was always my 'puppy' in my eyes. Also if you went to take out Pet Insurance on an older dog, I am pretty sure they generally don't cover you if you take the insurance out after the dog turns 9 years. So I presume thats when insurance companies consider a dog to be an 'older' dog.

Obviously your dogs present no danger to the public but if I was a mother I would teach my kids not do tease dogs in any ways eg. throwing sand in their face, as you dont know how the dog will react. The mother doesnt know if your dogs are not agressive and if they did anything to the kids, it would be the dogs fault and the dog would be punished for it even if the kids were provoking it. So I agree that I would too be angry at those kids mother!

I put kibble in an open plastic bottle - my frenchie loves chasing the bottle around trying to get the kibble to fall out. I supervise her of course when she does it but its a cheap and easy way to keep her entertained for a while!

Agreed with Minimax.. I dont think your GSD is offended being called old. :)

My 8 month old female Frenchie tries to hump when she is excited. Like when I just get home from work, she jumps up and tries to hump our legs. But we tell her 'off" and ignore her until she calms down. I think its just an excitement thing because she definitely doesnt try to dominate. She also occasionally tries to hump the couch cushion. But again, its when she has been playing with a fun toy and takes the excitement out on the cushion.

I have never heard of Break-away collars until now... what a great idea!

I think French Bulldogs are from the Mastiff family of dogs.. ? Not quite clear on what that means though?

Mine is to have a happy, healthy dog who is my companion. I don’t show or breed so dogs are purely pets and have always had dogs in my life.

Acacia Lodge does look good. Also I like the fact that the dogs dont have to share. I am happy for my little one to do playtime with other dogs but definitely wont want her sharing a kennel. :D

I agree. They did what they thought was best and obviously not everyone agrees. I agree too! I am still relatively new on this forum and sometimes scared to post questions out of fear of being attacked for doing/saying the wrong thing. I tend to find myself lurking a lot because there is a lot of knowledge here, just a bit imtimdating at times. Thanks mumof4girls!! :) -
Thank you Clyde! very much appreciated! I do hope for some first hand experience reccomendations soon too! I will try to message Pax as well.
