awww thats adora-bull!

OMG that poor thing!! that must have been so painful! in saying that, I have never cut my girl's nails, half our backyard is concrete and she hates going on the grass so her nails file down naturally and are always super short, even the dew claws.
-
I have no troubles, I am the only person in the house who gives our girl food so there are no 'double dinners' or over-doing the treats. Occasionally my other half will give her treats but I am there so I can let him know if she had just eaten. So no chance of over eating. :)

There is no point yelling at a puppy for going to the toilet in the house. They will have no idea what you are yelling at them for. its like yelling at at baby for going to the toilet. Please remember that puppies have little bladders and cant hold them very long. Please be patient with the puppy as toilet training takes time.

This will bring tears to your eyes..

Hope they are found soon!!!

There is an off leash dog area in Penrith near Jamison Park. Its right near the netball courts. I take my Frenchie there every now and then. I try to go when its quiter though as it can get quite busy on nice days. 95% of the time there are no issues and everyone plays nice.

My Frenchie cant stomach lamb either. She started randomly throwing up and lost her normally big appetite. I stopped giving her lamb and within a few days she was completely back to normal. SL so glad Ziggy is on the mend!! That would have been a scarey experience for the both of you!

What breed is the dog? I would suggest the breeder is possible, or they have rescue groups that can help you rehome a dog. Or the dog club of the breed that it is might be able to help too.

OMG! thats so scarey!! I hope he is okay! Sending healing vibes! when I was a kid, my GSD ate a small box of rat sack.. we didnt even realise he had eaten it until days later, and he was completely fine... not sure how he didnt get sick, or if he did, how we didnt notice because I was out playing with him every day. We guess he might have thrown it up? But he lived to a ripe old age.

How Often Do You Have To Cut Your Dogs Nails?
Sares replied to kelpiecuddles's topic in General Dog Discussion
Never have to cut them, not even the dew claws. The walks file them down, sometimes I worry they are too short. I dont know why her dew claw never grows though as we dont ever have to cut that either. -
If there is any type of footwear (shoe/slipper/thong) on the floor, Ruby will pick it up and walk away slow enough so she knows you see her, when we ask her to bring it back, she casually brings it back and waits for the praise bringing you your shoes.

Thank you for your explanation. I found that very interesting and informative. It very much answers my orginial question. And thank you to the others who explained their reasons as well. It makes sense to me now.
-
I know people answered my question, but I replied with more questions.. Thanks for your replies. :)

I wasnt asking the same question. I knew I would somehow get blasted for posting this thread...I was asking some innocent questions out of curiousity and get patronised for it.
-
I didnt say I havent found much information about them, I said I barely scratched the surface. Meaning I havent done 'extensive' research into the finer details of their organisation and that my understanding was their aim was to abolish puppy farms. No need to patronise.
-
Its telling me that people havent PREVIOUSLY said WHY they wont support them.

Confused about what exactly? Do you really think it's acceptable in our society for non authorised people to break into properties under the cover of darkness, take footage without consent, uplift animals and then splice the footage for maximum public outrage? And you referred to Oscars Law as 'it'. I assume you think the Law in the name pertains to legislation? It does not. Oscar's Law is a 'them'. It's an animal rights group. Maybe if you're confused you should do a search on the forum for all the other threads about it. Thats exactly what I am asking, your comment didnt give much information so was confirming if that was what 'they' did as you were not specific. I was asking WHAT they did... You explained it a little bit more in your last post but when did this happen? who did they show to the footage to? was it shown on TV? I DID do a search before I made the post and there was nothing that answered my question, just vauge comments saying people wouldnt support 'them'.. I was curious as to why. People are obviously passionate about not supporting them on something I would have thought a dog forum would have been supportive of. SORRY FOR ASKING!! SHEESH!
