He sleeps in a crate and will quite happily stay in one, but I don't really have space for one in the living room. I might have to make room. He is so cute but so damn challenging!

Probably stating the obviius, but has she been seen by the vet? My old girl developed incontinence and it turned out to be aUTI. I believe kidney failure can also cause incontinence.

Robbie is still here but I admit I've been a bit slack with his training. Did manage to toilet train him though which was an effort in itself! I have been trying to teach him to settle inside - all he wants to do is pace around the house looking for food. Currently doing that by putting him on a lead and making him sit near me. Seems to be working but not sure if anyone has any other ideas? Have also been trying to teach him to be a bit calmer around food and will not give him a treat until he settles. I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing though, just bumbling along. Thinking about joining a club to get some more ideas and experiences.

Mine all love their coats. They get all excited and try tp push their heads in when I bring them out. :)

My current girls are all good friends, will share toys, etc. But it has certainly made me very wary. I had no prior warning with the fight - they were BFF's. I wasn't home when it happened so I don't know what triggered it. But from that moment on they could not be together. The offending bitch was eventually PTS (not just for this reason, she had a lot of issues). It was devastating.

I know people hate Cesar Milan too but at least he teaches people about the importance of exercise, consistency, etc. This guy is just a conplete moron!

Definitely go for a show lines dog and a breeder who can pick out a more laid back pup for you. Yes they can be awesome family dogs but some are very demanding. I have worked with BC Rescue for many years so unfortunately I see the dogs that don't work out.

I've always had multiple girls and currently have four girls. I had never had an issue until a few years ago when one of my girls decided she wanted to kill another. It was just awful. I will always be cautious with girls now.

We are in Melbourne unfortunately, but there are a few eye specialists in NSW. Are his eyes more open now? Can you get a close up pic of his eye/s?

It doesn't usually cause them to suddenly yelp, etc. But it can come on very quickly. I would also wonder if his lenses are loose. But yes it could also be neurological, but that wouldn't cause glaucoma. It may be two totally seperate issues.

My phone screen is smashed so its a bit hard to see clearly lol, but he does look very much like a few dogs we have seen with glaucoma. But obviously if you can get the scan cheaply, then go for it. :) If nothing shows up though I'd definitely go for the referral. Glaucoma is not fun and you often need a combo of drops to keep it under control. Doof is gorgeous by the way. :)

Finn’s parents placed an iPhone under a living room couch to record audio of Khan, expecting to hear her possibly abusing the dog, according to court documents and officials. Can you post the photo of his face? Their eyes often become sunken and the third eyelids raised when they have glaucoma, due to the pain. It may be a stroke, but I would have thought the symptoms wouldn't improve like that? Poor old guy, hopefully you can get to the bottom of it. :)

Primary glaucoma can just suddenly come on, and it is due to poor drainage in the eye. If he has cataracts, he may have developed glaucoma secondary to the cataracts. I would still be getting a referral. That is not a reflection on your vet at all, just that they often don't have the equipment to look inside the eye. A CT scan will be very expensive, so I would see the specialist first because you might not need the scan.

Has anyone seen this show? Omg I want to slap the guy!! First of all, they are DOGS not puppies!! Scruffing a dog that you have just met will of course terrify it! There is nothing wrong with having a dog in the bed if you want it there. And there is nothing abnormal about a dog that was bred to be a lap dog wanting to be on your lap!!!

Can he see out of that eye? Have they said why he has glaucoma? If it is primary glaucoma, he will develop it in the other eye as well. I would be asking for a referral to a specialist so you know exactly what you are dealing with.

My Greyhound and Italians have been wearing theur coats for weeks (Melbourne). Just polar fleece ones at this stage. Pretty soon they will need another layer though, and at that time I will also start rugging my other dogs. The skinnies wear their rugs pretty much 24/7 but with the big dogs, I take them off at bed time.

That sounds worrying. It could be something simple like Horners Syndrome, although that isn't painful.
