Thanks to those who offered help instead of judgement.

There is a Chihuahua Rescue.
-
He may have a UTI?
-
A real mix there. Maybe some Kelpie, maybe some Stafford, who knows. I don't think breed is important in regards to training.
-
Sorry for your loss Rozzie. She was a real cutie xx

I would report to. Its not up to animallover to get all the facts - that is the job of the RSPCA investigator. She has serious concerns about the welfare of an animal. The RSPCA can check it out, and if the dog does have a medical condition the owner will be given the all clear.

Boomba (foster kitten) loves playing with Pia. ????

Opinions On Some Breeds * PUPPY UPDATE PG 4*

Aussie Shepherd. Go to a good breeder who will help you choose a more laid back dog. Our clinic dog is an Aussie. He is incredibly smart and switches on as soon as you want him to, but the rest of the time he is a couch potato. :) -
Help: Which Of These Plants Is Causing My Dogs Itchy Skin?

New carpet? Did they check for mange? -
Yes I use them for the possums. They work well. :) I bought mine on Ebay.

For anyone who is considering a Snuggle Safe, check out Scottie heat pads. I just bought 5 for $80. :)

Also, for anyone wondering they have recently changed the Cartrophen regime, hence the monthly injections. Having said that, I was under the impression the increased frequency was for severe cases.
-
Any medication can have side effects. And you can also get weird random reactions. Cartrophen has made a huge improvement to the lives of many animals and I wouldn't panic if you are thinking of using it. However it is always a good idea to ask your vet about possible side effects.

She is beautiful! I have a GSN greyhound and my sister has a privately rescued grey. I just love them all!
-
What do you mean when you say he is congested? This pup sounds like he will need airway surgery as well as the palate surgery. If he is skinny and struggling to breathe, how is his quality of life?
-
All taken at Myponga SA. Can't wait to go back there one day. I haven't edited or enhanced this pic at all - sun was getting low and the light was amazing.

Rupert and Blue :)
-
This dog doesn't need pity or sympathy, he needs leadership and structure. His past is irrelevant now. By feeling sorry for him, they excuse his bad behaviour and fail to address the real problem. They need professional help with this dog ASAP.

Roopy-doop is getting so big! Tonight he had a bath, blow dry and his first trim. He is just the puppy!! :)

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Kennel Cough In The Environment

Sheridan, are you getting a Wheaten? :) -
I'm so sorry Sheridan. She sounds like an amazing girl. RIP Mini x

What breed are you looking at getting? I think this will be the clincher. A chihuahua is not going to enjoy being rumbled by s Lab. A JRT or stafford would love it though. I have big dogs and small dogs. They are mostly supervised together, only sometimes alone. The big dogs are very gentle and appropriate with the small dogs.

Definitely fill out the forms and send them off. If something goes wrong later or whatever they might not cover it.
