  1. The main point i must point out re tibbies (i currently have 6)is that you do not own them, you are here to serve them, it is their great ability to work things out for themselves that endears them, their love and loyalty is never in question. As you can see by having 6 of them it is hard to stop at one. when some one tells me they are getting a tibbie i ask, how long before you get the second one.You meet them a year later and they usually have the second one.Every one of our tibbies have totally different behavior and natures (even litter brother and sister)they are quite the individuals. LOVE MY TIBBIES
  2. Hi have had great success with a product called DAP u can buy online or at Vets. just spray in the crate they are travelling of the area they will be sitting. and always allow fresh air into the vehicle on a regular basis, we do about every 40 to 50mins, just wind the window down for a few seconds. Good Luck.
  3. Hi Steph regards several of the breeds mentioned here maybe i can help, as i currently own some of them, ie Japanese Spitz, Norwich Terrier, Griffon (Ruff coated) and Tibetan Spaniels. I will give you my opion from my experience on each one. All my dogs are show dogs, but first and foremost they are family dogs that go to shows. The Japanese Spitz a breed i have had for years, are a very lovely and friendly dog very active and will get into mischief if bored. They can easily barkers and have a very sharp loud bark, i do know of some that have adapted toapartment living, but would not be my top of the list for an apartment dog. The Norwich Terrier is a fabulous loyal little dog very Robust but i could not imagine my boy living in a flat, they crave for attention and are very active and can play all day, from my experience they would be a great dog for a young boy who was very adventurous and out doors. The Griffon, I just love my griff, who did not turn out to be the show dog i would have liked but he is great to live with, although a bit of a Diva, he is very active but enjoys his inside time (a smooth coated one would be less maintence) they are just a fantastic dog to live with. Lastly Tibetan Spaniels we have several Tibbies, have had for years, they are very cat like in nature, you do not own a Tibbie you are there to serve them, they adapt to most situations and are at home inside or out, they are very intelligent and work things out for them selves rather than been taught. they are very low maintence. They have a high awarness to strangers and will soon let you know if a stranger is at the door, They would be my top pick for your circumstances followed by a Griffon. hope this helps and good luck Frank t
  4. the registration details will remain the same, so just use the same details to enter whilst you wait for the papers to return good luck.you must supply vet certification with microchip number, when registering as neutered
  5. Yes, I think you have time. Send the neuter certificate (and her paperwork)to Dogs NSW ASAP. You should get them back fairly quickly, certainly before the date of the show. thank you :D boost of confidence!
  6. My favourite for hair regrowth, is an old fashion mix of castor oil and methylated spirits 50/50, good for rashes, scars from injuries also if a dog is chewing its tail, was great for hopple chafe on trotters,
  7. the only other i would add to this list, is when they are not consistent with type,
  8. Change of Judge Mrs Sandra McMahon replaces Yvonne Meiwtjes
