I have emailed Petceteraetc and see if they have any in stock... I bought the 1kg and it was between $30-40... more effective then the 450g Should mention i have been using it for nearly 2months now, but i was told the other day that someon e they knew used it and when they stoped using it the coat all dropped and was bald until it grew back its coat, now thats not good for a poodles person

Has anyone used Biolac Coat Improver, I have been told to use this to grow more coat on my dog.... Ok my main questions are: Does this really work? Does it affect in anyway unborn puppies? If you stop, is it true the coat will fall out....???? Are there any side affects? Is it a Steriod and is it traceable on Steriod tests???? Any information would be greatly appreciated

Well I'll do this in No. steps 1. Catch the bloody dog (well bitch) 2. Drag her into bathroom and put her into tub 3. start the 10-15min process of trying to get her wet through all that coat  4. Once wet apply shampoo (nearly 1/2 bottle) until lathered 5. Rinse off - another 10-15 mins 6. Non show week - Conditioner, followed by oiling (for all those squeaky joints ) 7. rinse of again (no wonder where in drought ) 8. Then come the drying - that takes about another 1-2hrs to make sure she is completely dryed 9. Scissoring and clipping. 10. Don't own a Standard Poodle :p
-
Our Standard does sometime but most of the time it's who ever is grooming her - don't blame the dog - but i still do
-
I use coprice at the moment, and our dog has not had any problems (touch wood), but i have used Hill, Pal, and couple of other brands and this has worked the best. It is generally up to the person who owns the dog on what they feed, but at $25 for 20kg it is a cost effective purchase.

That is so sad  Try and get another vets oppinion, just to make sure. Personally i would not have purchsed this puppy, with all the problem, but most can be fixed, you wound have to explain the coughing more, as kennel cough has like a hacking wooping cough as unfortunatly we hads the experience of having kennel cough with our dogs a couple og months ago, but before this we had a weekend where she went lethargic and did not want to move but she was over this within the next day. I hope this helps, but unless it is if fretening, and just want to keep the pup as a pet then the choice is your, but personally at the moment i would take the pup back. It may clear-up in time, but only time has that answer. Palane P.S. Sorry if this is no help.

Hi We fed our Standard Poodle pup Know 14months, on: The recomonded amount of dog food (we use Hill's and Supercoat) on package for her breed and weight and size. For treats - Lamb shanks/necks, Chicken necks/wings. I could say more but it hard to remember what else we fed her, what are you feeding you puppy on at the moment. The main thing is to remember is not to over feed you puppy as overweight puppies have problems when older, especially Gldn Ret. and Labs Palane

Hi Electrawoman I am interested that nobody has mentioned bones here as, if you cook any type of bone they become brittle and can harm the dog internally, as with feeding raw meat, raw is the better as once you cook the meat it starts to break down the protein and vitamins that are in meat - cooked meat has low protien and vitamins. Some of the best meat to give dogs are raw chicken necks, and wings. T he only problerm with mince is that you sould NEVER cook chicken mince as it may contain small pieces of bone, which when beome cooked becomes deadly to you dog.
