If they have been run together and are not wormed strictly every three months then yes, very likely. Then how would 1 dog out of 5 get tapeworms if they all runned together, ate together and most of the time slept together or in the next kennel run??? All wormed regualry, cleaned out kennels on concrete??? This is what is confusing me the most... As i was always under the standing that if 1 had worms they all have worms... hmmmmm

If one dog has tapeworms does that mean all the dogs have them???

just looking for some advice on Tapeworms... If your pet had tapeworms how long did it take to notice that your dog/cat had them? What are the first symptoms? Doesn't Worming tablets cover tapeworms???

Lexa, lets start with the basics. An afghans coat should be silky by texture, you need to look at products that will keep the coat like this... Water.. Bore/hard water is horrid on an afghans coat (i should know), rain water is one of the best followed by town water (careful of water restrictions some palce have high clorine levels ) Shampoos - I use laserlites Protien shampoo (black, mohogany and purple) there normally is a colour sticker on the bottle to allocate the colour, but if you have a brindle i would suggest Mohogany (spelling lol) Conditioners - Laserlites protien mix with a cap full of laserlites Silk I always have soft silky coated afghans Inbetweens or at show Pantine condtioning spray or lasterlites show spray I don't use much of anything else trial and error is the real way, But i have found the fido's flea control can leave their coats dry and brittle :D Hmmm looking back on this i think i should become a lazerlites sales rep

Oh they love the chase its just if a bird flys by they might get distracted Is their an Age they need to be - like over 12mths etc?

What age do ppl start training for this? As i want to train my young boy for this as my other dogs aren't really in for the chase lol

My young Afghan would only eat meat, or should i say chicken... I mixed his food in with his meat, so that he would get the idea of eating biscuits as well... Although when i put out biscuits they eat slow but meat BANG!!!! its gone and so is a finger too someday lol Now he eats what eva i put out to him... One thing i got tought a while ago with fussy eaters, make them eat it.... ie leave the food there and only that food when they are hungry they'll eat it... Im not one for having fussy eaters, they learn to eat whats put before them or otherwise someone else eats it the other dogs... But they all still get fed... Normally i give in to them and give them what they want ;) As long as his eating that the main thing...

Hi.... I need someway of growing coat fast - well faster then normal hair growth on a dog.... One has a missing patch and the other well needs a lot of coat.... Any help or suggestions... ie 1 is already in the ring and the other i need to grow coat to put back in the ring...

For awhile now lucius only eats meat or canned dog food (imy's kinda the same)... If you give them dry dog food still might be there at the end of the day... If you give them any type of meat BAM!!!!! its gone... Is it ok to give a growing puppy just meat ie Chicken necks/wings, lamb ribs/necks etc (i don't feed my dogs much beef) as i know if i give him meat he'll eat it... Also if i put vitamin/minerals etc on they wont touch it unless you stand there and watch them :D

Peppermint oil - on cloth or near the air vents to all it to be carried on the air, as peppermint calm the stomache and relaxes as well :D Junket (sp) tablets or as above the ginger tablets Mum's standard bitch Pearl gets car sickness loves to jump in the car but :D when it moves
