My two goldies "share" my bed (or rather I share with them). I don't mind it - it's awesome in winter!

My two golden retrievers aren't particularly fussy: Sophia will eat all fruit and most vegies, salad included if there is a little dressing still on the leaves. Ollie will also do the same, with or without dressing. Both dislike celery though.
