  1. I'm guessing Willow is now huge but Sumo makes her look tiny!!!
  2. Hey! You and I are procrastinating at the same time! I don't want to do this Monday! Cute video, made me laugh. Thanks for sharing :) This Monday sucks, I have an exam this afternoon, trying to do online tests this morning but they won't let me press the NEXT button!! Damn this Monday! Doggy videos make me feel better.
  3. Lollipup your day at the beach looks great too! Your horse is amazingly calm around Envy!
  4. Jules Miah has grown into a lovely lady! She sure does look like she is enjoying herself. Sounds like a great day, and spotting a whale too! What a bonus! Again I'm so sorry about Joey
  5. Thanks Poocow and Pesh, yes I am over the moon with them :) I'll definitely be going back for more when he is fully grown!
  6. Good choice Hankodie :) I always go with the breeders recommendations as they know what their lines do well on. What does she feed her adults?
  7. I was just coming back to say a similar thing as I just realised what I do with my dog (4months). When we go for a leisurely walk Nova wears his harness, I don't expect a heel position, I don't mind sniffing etc, but I do not tolerate pulling. I always reward for perfect walking right next to me and stop dead or walk backwards when pulling. I use a collar when we are training, I just took Nova out the back to a field and I put him on a flat collar, it's only behind my house so we did heel position walking with lots and lots of delicious rewards like cabanossi, roast chicken and cheese. Its very very short, about 1-2 minute walk, then I did lots of play, recalls and stays, some relaxing sniffing then the short heel position walk back home.
  8. Wow Hank looks so much more grown up in these pictures! Still adorable though
  9. Thank you BC Crazy :) I might have to invest in a Lickity split, he did like it a lot!
  10. 30minutes of formal walking is way too long for a puppy of that age, especially a large breed. I go a general rule of 5 minutes for every month of age max. My pup loves his walks and walks quite well on a loose leash, but he still is extra enthusiastic when we are heading back home, my last dog was the same.
  11. I personally really like Proplan, raised my lab on Proplan Large puppy then switch to adult around 9 months, 11 years ago by breeder recommendation. Now Nova is on Proplan large breed puppy too, with recommendation to keep feeding it until 12months. If looking for similar I've heard Advance is good too? The other brand I was looking into was Eaglepack, but it's only just become readily available where I am, and so far Nova is going great on the Proplan so my theory is why change something that is working?
  12. Agree with what Tralee has said, but just some hints for cheap toys that can be destroyed. Cardboard boxes! Stuff them inside each other, stuff them with news paper, scatter food through it, chuck it on the grass and let her go nuts. After she destroys it she'll then have to scavenge around for bits of dropped food :)
  13. Oooh what are the little primates above the Cotton tops? Another Tamarin? They are beauties!!
  14. Number 4 in the 1st set or the 5th or 7th in the second set. Great choices Tralee! I'd add 6th of the second set and 4th and 7th of the third too.
  15. Thanks guys, he's pretty adorable :) I really don't know which ones I should get framed!
  16. Oooh you reminded me! I'm getting the Moe Strenfell DVD and the Canine Massage book :)
  17. We used to take Sam when Mum would vote at my high school all the time. Lots of people took their dogs, I was contemplating taking Nova up this morning but wasn't sure how busy it would be, there was only 6 people there so I probably could have If they are going to not let people do it it should be ALL dogs, not pick and choose on size.
  18. Thank you :) Teekay I get all of them sent out to me on a disc. I can get printed which ever ones I like. She's only just set up her studio this year so she doesn't print them out or anything, so that actually makes it quite cheap
  19. For anyone that wants to check out Nova's Pro photos http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/251788-novas-pro-photo-shoot/
  20. This is what Lickity Sticks do to dogs
