  1. So sorry Crits, what a horrible accident Run free Finnigan. I would also love to see a photo if you would like to share. Poor Nixon, you and him just can't cop a break can you! I celebrated Novas belated birthday today, as I've been a bit ill the last few weeks. We shared some Frogurt
  2. I know someone that does sheep trials with an irish marked kelpie. I'll see if I can get a hold of him.
  3. I've had 3 panels blocking a set of unused crappy stairs for about 10 months now. Holding up well, no obvious rust.
  4. Do you have to be a member of Costco to get it, or can I just pick one up the next time I'm in a city with one?
  5. I thought they were explaining to people that the insurance increases were going on sizeā€¦ That's definitely not the case if your Chi's went up that much too!
  6. Yes, I went one step ahead and enquired about it... they can't ship it to Australia. In the little box down the bottom it says shipping to US states only. The customer service person told me that I could get it through their UK site however, and they can ship to Aus. I went to check it out... and it's soooooo much more expensive in GBP, the shipping is a killer too, I had to give up on it. The search for the perfect bed continues... Let me know if you find a way!
  7. I'm no where near a costco unfortunately. SIlentchild was that you that posted the name of that bed??? I'll blame you when I give in and buy one. Hmm I'm not sure If he'd use one as enclosed as that. He does curl up in his sleep but he will stretch out when he gets hot.
  8. Instead of starting a new thread, anyone have any ideas where to get a bed with a bolster in Australia (and not breaking the budget) for a dog that likes using a pillow like a human? Something similar to this:
  9. Put it in the "review" section if you don't want them to delete it.
  10. Looking on their Facebook page a lot of people are complaining. I think a lot of people might be in for a shock if they haven't looked yet.
  11. I was considering getting Petplan now that I have a full time job (rather than just putting money into a bank account), and noticed that the premium estimate was MUCH higher then when I did it last year
  12. Gosh he has muscled up a lot in 8 weeks! Not just the spots that have changed! Handsome boy!
  13. Esky are you trying got get Bull Arabs into the show ring? Perfect stack you have going there Amira is gorgeous! Even all covered in mud!
  14. May have to pull out, medical issues. I'll let you know at the end of the week if I get the all clear
  15. My lab started sitting like that when DM set in. Hoping it's just your tiles
  16. I have heard that Australian Shepherds may not have a high tolerance level...that's just what I have heard, that they can be a little temperamental. Yes I wouldn't recommend an Aussie with small kids in general. Some would be fine though, but in general. I don't know why people recommend them as "easier than a border".
  17. Lovely models! Nixon that scarf really compliments your fur Love the red Hurtta. I really want the black one, but it seems I'll have to do an international shipment for that one.
  18. Hankodie, if I was you I'd be checking with a vet, just to make sure everything is fine. Pain always comes to my mind in these situations, and if he is fine then you know to look at behavioural options instead. Does his stomach feel/look ok? Not overly firm?
  19. I'd try again without the food, maybe with a soft massage down the whole leg starting at the hip. Do both legs. If he reacts to a certain spot only then perhaps there is some pain.
  20. Ate a whole set of keys? I just visualised that one and it made me giggle a bit as my sisters lab is the same and will pretty much eat anything (he once ate an entire phonebook)! Oh yes. He was only about a year old. This is the same lab that chewed the foundation posts of the veranda all the way through when about 9 months old. He was the definition of destructo puppy no matter the physical, mental and emotional stimulation! He grew into a perfectly behaved adult though.
  21. Get the 70 Aliwake and take the belly strap in if you need to. Nova is in a 60 and he is much smaller than a lab. The sizing guide is a bit off.
  22. Did you try to touch/pick up the other hind leg? How does he react to that one?
