  1. Thanks Perse, I will grab some Parrafin and electrolyte tomorrow
  2. If it's Quinn, Aussie sized furball vomit is a good 10cm across and sloppy.
  3. Thanks guys, It's pretty hard to get any work done around him
  4. Thanks Gretel. What type of oil did the vet suggest? He had a can of sardines last night with dinner, I would think the oil in that would of helped. I never thought Novas grooming could be seeking for salt. I have seen him lick dirt and mud before though so maybe electrolytes are a good idea.
  5. Thanks Perse, I did think of Paraffin oil, wasn't sure though :)
  6. Nova just vomited a hairball along with some grass and what looked like tendon from this mornings turkey neck. This is the second time he's done this in a fortnight. Last time it was at 3am. I know hairballs can cause blockages, is this something that I should get checked out at the vet straight away or is there something I can give him to help it pass? I brush him daily, but he is a very clean dog. He will groom himself if he gets even a little bit dirty.
  7. He loves you too. He loves life
  8. Give him something else to do instead. If there is something in your hands tell him to sit BEFORE he tries to jump. When ever you are going to give him anything make him sit first too. No rewards, no pats, no eye contact unless he sits first.
  9. It seems pretty good quality. Comfort level seems high too. Nova has hardly moved out of it since I gave it to him.
  10. Bit squishy but it'l do just fine. "Plus I ate the docket so you can't take it back"
  11. Anyone manage to get one? I got the last large in both shops here. Not very 'large'.
  12. I think this is evident by Silentchild's extremely traumatised looking Aussie
  13. How could you resist I adore Huskies but I don't think I could do the spitz temperament. Otherwise I would have one in a heartbeat. PS: He's just a bit bigger than Ronin at 24.2kgs and 12 months. He should continue filling out for a while longer but I don't think he'll get much heavier.
  14. Ronin is stunning!! Is Mila already bigger than your other frenchie? Not so tiny anymore!
  15. My dog had IBD, during a severe flare up I wouldn't add anything else incase they get very sick. Just give more of the cooked kangaroo diet. Does she have any multi vitamins added to her diet? I don't remember which one Sam was on but the vet had suggested one mashed into his meal.
  16. I agree with Haredown about lots of raw meaty fatty bones. I've heard lamb flaps are great. If you want some dry food I would also go with a performance type.
  17. No photos of bath time as I normally have both hands (and entire body) soaking wet. But a photo of post bath baby Nova I'll have to get an updated Year old one this weekend.
  18. won't it be a bit small for you? It says various sizes! I could be lucky enough to get a big one
  19. Oooh I NEED that dog bed!
  20. Sh'e a She - and just becomes like a growth on one's leg/foot when she leans ... Ooops sorry pretty lady!
  21. That brown marked boy is lovely! Some of the dogs with the best temperaments I've met have been working pig dogs of various breeding. Mostly Bull Arabs or their crosses.
  22. Ooops luvsdogs I missed your post. Congrats with Laci and your win! How are you finding the course?
  23. Wow Terri, Didi is looking great! Big girl! Forgot this photo, we finally have a few streets of proper autumn here, and leaves are by far Novas favourite thing. So this happened…
  24. Thats creepy as. Beautiful shots though!
