  1. OT I know, but do any groomers use a Clipper Vac? Would like some information. By the way, I use Andis AGC 2 speed. ;)
  2. Anna, I am so very sorry for your loss. What a special, beautiful girl she was. RIP Little
  3. Everyone is most welcome to call-in for a sharpening(blades/scissors) and coffee/Lamoes, I bought a Expresso machine check it out http://www.coffeeshrine.com.au/isomac-zaff...less-steel.html On the back veradah over looking a nature reserve. No stress ;) We will even sharpen on weekends. Nice coffee Yummy, come-on down, bring your jarmies as well. You will probably live to regret that offer - a whole team of DOL gals will turn up in their jarmies with all their dogs next weekend.
  4. I haven't had any lamingtons/cappucinos sent with my blades either. :D
  5. Such a beautiful tribute FD. What a gorgeous girl she was. Heart dogs are magic - and they are always beside you.
  6. Rosalie is also fantastic but thought Sydney Uni (Glebe) may be closer for you. Clyde and I are both big fans of Gladesville Vets.
  7. Hi Ruthless, Get a referral to Dr. Linda Vogelnest at Sydney University, dermatologist.
  8. She can always drive down to show me the new puppy. :D
  9. Veanna, I am so very sorry for your loss. RIP Odin
  10. Hi Raz, I have pm'd you my number and your friend can call me if she likes.
  11. Hi Raz, Totally agree with Clyde. He and his team have been my vets for many years and I cannot recommend his practice highly enough. My first schnauzer had both cruciates done by Max and was as sound as a bell after the recovery period. Rehab is a pain if you are working full time. My dog was kennel rested (my inside laundry, and away from other dog) for about a month after each surgery and leash walked out to the yard for toileting. This was a long time ago, so things could have changed in the meantime.
  12. Incredibly sad SR. Having had a GSD that was prone to seizures - I know the distress it causes. Poor boy. RIP
  13. Anne, Your words are so touching and beautiful. I am so very sorry for your loss. The love a dog gives us during their lifetime far outweighs the grief when they are gone. RIP beautiful angel Sophie.
  14. Hi Loraine, What flea treatment do you use on him?
  15. I feed two small meals per day - as close to 12 hours apart as I can. Recommended by my vets as much better for the dogs digestive system.
  16. Anna, I am so very sorry - may your little angel rest in peace. RIP
  17. You can ring either 9888.9800 North Ryde Emergency Vets or SASH on 9889 0289. They will give you advice over the phone. Good luck.
  18. Fifi, What a stunning girl - I know how robbed you feel when you lose a young dog. RIP Tamsyn
  19. Shelby, I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard for our old dogs to leave us behind. RIP Gypsy.
  20. Alix, My heart goes out to you - the old dogs are so beautiful and wise. What a wonderful life he had with you, you gave him his second chance and filled his world with love. RIP gorgeous boy.
  21. It looks to me that the bitch has been rubbing her backside on concrete - my bitch did the same when she had a compacted bowel. (we went straight to the vet) I agree with Cordelia, I would seek out a new vet who will get to the source of the problem. I would also check her anal glands.
  22. Hi Sheridan, With increased thirst and hunger - have they tested for Cushings or an adrenal tumour? My old boy has an adrenal tumour (diagnosed by ultrasound) and he had both symptoms.
  23. Birgulparis, I am so sorry you have lost little Levi. I have often admired your beautiful Frenchies. Another angel in heaven. RIP
  24. Hi Sheridan, Sounds to me like it is pain related. Have his ears checked well and swabbed. I would also ask them to feel and check his neck and spine. I hope he recovers quickly. Big pats to the old boy.
  25. You should ring the OES breed club and ask for a recommended groomer if you cannot find a suitable one in the eastern subs.
