haha Mine gives that same "what the?!" look

BTW, the person asking about the barking doesn't actually have a Stafford. I think the pup is as much Labrador as anything else. Thanks for pointing this out - as stated in other posts she is a staffy X - it was in your opinion to tell me she "could" have Labrodor in her. Have a nice day

Thanks for the help - I will try moving her around to the back as sleeping her inside is definitely not what I want. Thanks again

She is 4.5 months old, female, sleeps outside with another dog. She has only just started barking in the last 2 weeks.

Hi there, It took 3 weeks for my pup to settle.. the first week was the worst!! I felt like the worst person in the world for letting her cry and not knowing when she was crying to be toileted or crying for attention. I must admit it definitely got much better as time goes on. I used to get frustrated when people said "just let he cry she will be right" but now I think of it as the best advice ever. She now sleeps outside without a care in the world.. So yes, it does get easier. My pup slept in my ensuite for the first week, I used a radio, pigs ears, toys and a heat pack wrapped in my shirt.. After a few mins of crying I would say a stern "NO" and she would generally stop and go back to sleep. Good luck - I definitely don't miss those - sleep deprived what the hell am I doing - nights.

Hi, Not sure if this is the right place to post this apologise if not. I have a staffy bitch and I live with my partner. My partners dog passed away last year and he misses her dearly. He is now interested in getting a Bull Terrier bitch. Just wondering what bully's are like with other dogs especially a staffy. I am worried they won't get along and we will have to seperate them throughout the day. I do not want to get a dog that will make my staffy stress. Again I apologise if I have posted in the wrong place. Thanks

Thanks, she is 4 months old and she is a Staffy. I know it can be scary for her which is why I want her to learn that bath time is a good time. I have tried doing it outside on a leash but she jumps and makes a huge fuss when I try to wet her with the smallest bit of water. She is great on a leash usually (walking and training etc) but just not when it's bath time. Ive also tried in the laundry tub but again she howls and cries and tries to jump out. I try to reassure her that it is ok but she just cries and cries. I don't usually wash her too often but she plays with my parents German Shepherd pup and they get into all kinds of mischief including jumping through mud LOL. I guess what really makes me worry is that she doesnt hate water as she sits in her water bowl. It is just bath time she hates. I guess I will try again with the leash and be super patient. Thanks again for your help :-)

Hi, just after some advice. My puppy HATES having a bath. She cries and howls when I even try to put her near water. She does however try to sit in her water bowl throughout the day but it seems to be on her terms only!! Does anyone have any tips on trying to make her bath time a happy time?

It is always great to hear a "good rap" about a Pit Bull. They are always portrayed so differenlty by the media.
