Poor Eric is at the vets having a grass seed removed from his ear, the have to sedate him as he is such a wriggler. This is the worst time of the year for the bloody things. He was scared being there as he has never been to the vets, ( Vacc's done at greyhound track, micro & DNA test done at dog show) The fan on the roof had him hiding under my chair, & I can guess he won't be in a hurry to go back there. ( I hope not anyway)

Contact your breeder Frank to have this pup returned while it is still young enough to be trained. I would say this has more to do with lack of training, NOT the pups temprement. A Cocker needs to be taught what is allowed & what isn't, and yes they will test the boundries from time to time, but consistancy, time & effort are needed to make sure pup becomes a happy, well behaved member of your family. I think rehoming him is a bit of a cop out, unless it is to the breeder.

Everything I wanted to say has already been said.

I wouldn't be letting the cat eat the puppy biscuits as dog bickies are alot bigger than cat crunchies and they tend to swell up in their stomachs and can cause problems.

I just recieved news that my parents had their beloved Daisy PTS on Monday. She was 19 years old & a beautiful long haired ginger, her only vice was that she was a grumpy old thing She has been their best friend for such a long time, they both miss her terribly. RIP Grumpy Girl

There is a man in Lal Lal, which is not far from Ballarat, can't think of his name at the moment, I have taken my dogs to him & found him quite good. -
I too was going to suggest flushing it out with warm salty water. When one of mine had a grass seed the vet told me to open up the lump & syringe salty water into it. After a couple of days the grass seed came out.

Deepest condolences

As pups both of my Orange roans had tear stains, once they stopped teething their eyes cleared up. If they don't have nice dark pigment on their eyelids it can make them look a bit red, give your pup time

Purchasing Clippers From The Usa

Why ???? -
It is not only BSL, It also the fact that the RSPCA spent 10's of thousands of dollars getiing tail docking banned, when there were FAR FAR worse things happening in the animal world. I feel sorry for all the dogs & the hard working volunteers, but Personally I wouldn't give them 2c. JMHO

Sick Of Unprofessional Groomers
Silverblue replied to border14's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Not sure what you mean there Poodlefan, I operate a Mobile grooming business & ALL our dogs are washed in fresh water, and also rinsed in clean fresh water. If you are not happy with what your groomer is doing then don't take it back. I have a fantastic rapport with all my clients, & make a point of know EXACTLY what is required. We are not all bad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
