The bitch is black & white, and so is the dog, but both carry the red gene so some of the pups may be red. I'd like a black & white better, but if all of them are red and white, then I guess I'll get one of them. My favourite colours are the Choc & white, and brown & white.

What breed is Onyx?

Hi rusty&biscuit! :) I found plenty of breeders, just finding one in my local area that I liked proved a bit difficult. For a while I thought I'd have to fly one up from VIC.

I have been waiting for a pup since August last year. (A Border Collie pup, that is) Finally found the right breeder and now just have to wait for the bitch to come in season....she should come in in about 6-8wks. Sometimes it feels like I've been waiting forever, but anyway, I should have a pup by July this year! Yay!

Hi, I'm new to the forum, so hope I've posted this in the right place!:) I'll be getting my first Border Collie pup in a couple of months and just had a few questions about vaccinations. The breeder will have the puppy vaccinated at 6wks, two weeks before she comes home with me. I don't really want to continue her vaccinations, as I don't like the side effects they can have, or how often they are given the shots. So I was wondering if anyone has had experience with alternative vaccines, such as homeopathic ones, and how they went with them? Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks, Sarah :)
