depends on your dog Mel, Bodie wont bark in flyball but we are learning agility AND HE WILL BARK THERE!!! LOL in herding i WANT him to bark in crtain situations and he is being a stubbourn shit about it Jen

i get a lot better response from bodie than my other dogs and a lot of it is a side benefit from herding i think. If you are the pack leader at herding a lot of the respect flows on, and if you can get a solid recall off sheep calling him off playing in a group of dogs in the middle of the oval is not a problem!!! i have seen only benefits so far from working with my dog on sheep

So is Geordie doing flyball? or just obedience & Showing?

lol being ballarat we could get it ALL!!! im taking stuff fr ll weather conditions!!! and parking the car as near as possible, a certain blue pavillion that is not too waterproof has me worried!!

lol after getting both sunburnt and wind chilled saturday and sunday remember warm jackets, thermal underwear and sunhats and sunscreen!!!

lol maybe you should get a list of demo days and competitions for your preschoolers for them to go and hav a look, much more atmosphere than a video

some of our flyball club went down there Maggie mae the little white bullterrier bulldozer LOL and a few others , we were trialing so couldnt make it

maggie got a place in the morning but didnt quite pass(very close tho) i think Josh and bailey had some stand for examination issues and stay issues, in the afternoon josh had to go in with bailey 1/2 way thru Maggies turn and she was distracted by him i think so didnt go as well , i had to leave after encouragement finished to appease the hubby and go to a housewarming so didnt stay for presentations LOL just remember to come next weekend OK?????

LOL it was only i left my trolly at club after flyball training tuesday!!! Bodie won the encouragement ring n the morning missed out by 4 points on a pass but it was just a run thru to see how he reacts in the ring he can second in thePM trial to themight Zeus!!! i was so pleased he won the lady has worked so long and hard with him Sparty & Bodie also got trophies and sashes for highest ballarat members in encouragement and Novice which was pretty cool lol and with the dog food why the trolley looks bulky!!

lol he has snatched defeat from the jaws f victory so often i was worried it would never happen!! silly little things .. like going to sleep at the post in the time it took me to yes yes we are ready to the judge LOL loosing 6 points for that and missing a pass by 3, getting a passing mark and on the last exercise taking a 2 minute pee in the ring LOL getting the only passing mark with a strict judge, snapping at a fly in the sit stays and lying down so it is a relief to finally have it done

finally!!!! he did it 177 won the ring got his title and retired even tho it was cold he overcame his arthritis and did it

Yeah be careful tho they stuckthe camera in my face for a while so it could get scary!!!! lol and they totally freaked one of our new dogs out too with all the camera stuff

Yeah you would think they would reherse and maybe pick up on the fact the dog was petrified, and without walking him with and without if doesnt really show the benefit of the halter
