I got my silver tunnel from a heating cooling specialist Celcius heating the details were : 243W or WDC324 and it was about $40 it has lasted almost 12 months so far without probs, however i dont curve it much as i doubt the sides would stant up to a fast turn
-
Hey TD lets not forget the skill to use it i have been showing hubby all the action shots Chezyr took he is very impressed as am I So Hedds BBQ at your place on the 28th?? after the next lure coursing?? BYO Chardy?? What time did it go to guys?
-
Yeah Nat come to ballarat, toller twins may not be there due to being snipped on friday but you could come and watch todd the wonderdog in action at flyball hehe Rus will be doing tracking at 7.30, but i doubt u will be there for that!! if you get a chance we are in Victoria park up the top of sturt st (main rd in ballarat) lol just keep walking till u see all the dogs!! i will be up there from 7.30 till 12 jeeze im a sucker for punishment!! after almost 3 hours of herding today!!! no wonder my hubby is complaining he never see's me anymore
-
I would have thought in herding there is a hell of a lot more for the dog to concentrate on, sheep (multiples) and handler not going over the exercises that are continuously practiced and signals that are (hopefully) consistant from the handler so not as much variables ?? so guys is there anything i can practice with bodie until the next time we visit the sheep? Jen
-
hmm doubt im gonna get there in the 2 hour limit trip time!!! well we can get ready for the next stage anyway  i dont want to push him too hard, he is doing tracking and flyball and starting obedience trials as well this year!!! i have just completed a 2 minute group stay in the kitchen!!!
-
how rude the next instinct test (after 7th Aug) is not until after christmas!!!! herding trials but not intinct
-
Looks like we will miss this one we have tracking early sunday we go once a month for the club to check our progress.. also if im going to the herding trial on the 7th or 8th i need some credit with the hubby!!! but i hope to make the august one!!! Hopefully Josh & moses will be coming then too to show us how its done!! maybe we could have a DOL run or two hehehe Bodie and Rosie certainly love to run together
-
well we are very new and i was pretty nervous/confused so i may have heard it wrong Bodie had a blast tho it is something i could enjoy too i think, I doubt I would ever get to the 3 sheep standard but we will give te ANKC type a good nudge
-
LOL and trying to restrain that mutant sheep!!! Bodie seemed to go into a down fairly often, dunno if it was "arrghh my brain is frying" or "hmm i have them where i want them now...."
-
when it comes down to it it just different types of hunting for different prey??
-
Bodie was only learning to change direction this weekend i think that was about all he would have coped with his first time, dont want to fry his poor puppy brain!! he did drop when he thought he had them where he wanted them which apparently is undesireable??? as coming back up suddenly can scare the sheep??
-
lol im racking my brain to try and go sunday, we have our monthly tracking check up at club at 7.30, lol Hubby accuses me of never being home at the moment.... we will have to see how much grovelling i have to do ;)
-
this is most of the email i got from the lovely lure coursing lady: Pout i may not be able to come, We had a trial meeting friday night for 3 hours, I went herding yesterday and was away most of the day and have obedience today lol hubby is asking "who are you again??"
-
Julie O O O we would love to run with Josh !!! how old do they have to be to run the adult runs??
-
YUp Kira and Elvis seem very similar, lol she hid most of last night while the puppies where here then came out and was extra loving, it was like "see mum you dont need annoying puppies you have me!!" She is fine after agility when we are packing up, runs around with the others without any issues just feels trapped on a lead i think. but we will be keeping a careful eye on them anyway and she can have a sleep in the car or inside if there are any problems
-
Hey Rhi, you will have to come visit and see how Elvis deals with my lot off lead (lots of water and horse poo for fun too - fun getting them back in the car that is ) maybe they could run together? unless we have some DOL old hands at lure chasing to "mentor" our newbies? Jen
-
