lol today was just not meant to be, i shoud have been herding!!!! car tyre blew out and i do mean totally shredded at 10km as i was assing someone, had to change tyre on my own (drivers front on the freeway!!!) had to drag an upset sparty out of the back of the wagon so i could get to the spare, he ended up stressed and panting um i was not the picture of patience got to the trial and it was muggy and hot and guess what?? we were first up!! he was doing so-so but then decided that return meant to my right side if not for that he would have been only 4-5 points short of a pass in the morning as well LOL i think the judge was considering pinging me an extra 10 points for the extreme length of the pee LOL over 1 minute constant stream they were going to send for a cuppa!! LOL i should just have gone herding LOL and probably gotten trampled by the sheep

woo hooooo sparty got 170!!!! unfortunately he also took a 2 minute piss in the ring DOH DOH DOH!!!!!!!! so back to 160 no pass

gotta love that stuff comeand say hi, i will be wandering up to poor unsuspecting weim owners looking to say g'day!! dunno if i will have 1 or 2 dogs, unsure if i will bring bodie to get used to trial days while sparty snozes in car

m waiting with Bodie for new year, want to concentrate on sparty the slug dog until then who is trying to crwl under my chair atm due to rain & thunder.. not good with the same forecast for saturdays trial!!!

Geeze Yogi, my sparty wouldnt know a "brisk pace" in the obedience ring if it jumped up and bit him!!! after lying down for a snooze in the recall last trial!! LOL it is so different with Bodie there are skid marks in front of me after the recall he comes in so fast!!!

I cant come now the herding workshop is on the whoe weekend!! i had arranged accomodation and everything before that happened!!!

what about they are heading off the prey so it can run any further?? LOL just a guess my border collies (apart from the ball obsessed one) prefer to herd the chasing dogs rather than get the ball unless it is to ensure the others dont get it after they win they get it they taunt the others then drop it

Usually as long as it is post dated before the cut off day they will accept it (lol aways willing to take our money at trials hehehe i will see u there!!! look for a blue border collie sleeping thru the recall and it will be us!!!!!

Diamond creek way, I know the feeling Chezzyr!!! i just want a good go at sparty's CD before the new rules come in, after that i can reax a bit, but i have Bodies herding test on the 27&28th December and feel i should work on that a bit more to give ME confidence :D

i might miss the nilumbuk one werribee is the day before lol hubby likes to spend at least 1/4 of the weekend with me :D when is the rosebud one?

yay Hedds!! im trying to make it soon, just got to handle werribee double andballarat and that is it for trials until the herding one on boxing day so i need practice oh and the lure coursing at KCC. i think southern obedience is having a herding trial 30or31st october, no instinct or herding test (the first two stages) but the ones after(started, pretrial , intermediate & advanced(?)), might be good to have a look at for u guys, i watched at lancefield and felt a lot easier about having a go, most of the people were friendly and helpful some of the southern ppl were there as well and they were nice :D

good news is no melbourne traffic it is on our side of the city, it is about 60mins (approx) from ballarat

lol i would love that!! can rarely get any good herding pics of bodie, as i'm working him, and trying to listen and learn when it is not my turn :p and my Sis who takes a lot of pics wont come all the way to herding :D i will tell you when we fianally work out a day but boxing day holiday (the monday and tuesday) lancefield have herding trials both days & champ show, also not far from hanging rock so plenty of phot op's lol that is if you have not submitted to the the herding bug and entered Reilly!!!!

I never thought i would be interested in herding, but since i started i have had a blast and bodie has been such a joy to live with, i mean he has never been a problem the the adolescent stage was shaping up to be a doozy, once we started herding he has matured really nicely

damn Reilly is so photogenic!!!!
