I have started a Ballarat flyball photo thread

Hi Shinji, I think mum is bringing one puppy up at least Rus got to come watch flyball practice on tuesday so probably Teela My sister is bringing her boxer pups too i think

Awww Julie as you said she is suffering no more, it still leaves a hole in our hearts tho

um i wonder what the Vet would consider natural then? not picking but rabbits and other prey animals rarely run in straight lines moderation would be a key here maybe 2 runs well apart?? usually the first run is pretty slow trying to get the dogs interested in the lure (well some dogs) and as you have said he is very fit :rolleyes: good luck with whatever you decide Jen

just checked my super dooper calender and flyball is on the 14th, might merit staying down in melbourne overnight .. but then i cant bring all the dogs ahhh dilemma!!!! will have to think on this as hubby might crack it going away both days in the weekend

nope i have had it for obedience for this year not going to even do classes for the rest of the year, will come early set up flybal and just do ring work with food/toy for my three and STAYS!!!! it will be too hot and too boring they all have basics but kira has just gone off heeling altogether from lack of interest, her only motivator is sparty but im not waving him around!!!! (would love to go to K9 but the herding seminar is on the same days ;) ) then the boys can do flyball after obedience classes, sparty just does it for fun but Bodie is now up for team selection woo hooo! besides im not driving 3+ hours for the remainding trials!!! will see what the new changes bring, one heeling pattern might not bore them silly as bad.

wellit willgive sparty a bit longer then LOL he is almost there his knee has improved so muchand im pleased im in no rush for bodie to start as he has other stuff on the go for now

lol well we didnt get over it entirely!!! he got a pass and second in the morning ;) :p ;) but... in the afternoon after getting 117 in the heeling pattern his PB with a pretty strict judge (only dog on a pass at that point) in the sit stays he got a fly buzzing him so snapped at it and decided oh may as well lie down DOH!! he would have got his 3rd pass and retired!!!! he still won and got highest ballarat dog in that trial tho so that was cool

Hi Guys:) I havebeen having an issue wih Bodie, he is mad for his motivater, he only see's it at flyball and will do back flips to get it, at home balls are so-so items he will chase sparty when sparty is chasing ball and sometimes grab a thrown ball, but lately returning on a fly ball run he will horde the ball he has over the motivator so the context of the toy changes?

anyone coming on the 13th November for the ballarat trial? maybe we could pool resources and have a tent and nibblies and drinks in comfort LOL I will be there with Sparty to compete and bodie for company and aclimitization
