Ha yes they are very clumsy at this age! Polly is all legs and not co-ordination most times! they do get out of it eventually though! No I kept her from my last litter... I have been wanting to get into the obdeidence and agility for a while but time is my enemy sometimes so decided that I need to make the time and thought if I found a buddy it would be easier to commit and more fun than on my own :)

Rumour had her pups Friday. 1 girl and 5 boys, unfortuately she laid on one little boy and he couldn't be revived Mother and remaining babies are all doing well and paranoid grandma (me!) still has loads of sleep to catch up on!

Could be soon, temp was down to 37 degrees at 6am this morning then up to 37 1/2 at 7:45am, she is a maiden so have no idea what to expect but the pups are moving around alot..her tummy looks like something out of Alien the ways its moving!

We have 4 days to go and counting down...Rumour has had enough and is enjoying a back massage :D

I have had my bitch AI using Frozen, cost was $850.00, she was already in the East (we are in WA) being campained by a friend so it was convienent that she came into season when she did, :) She is due on the 28th September and look like she is ready to explode with still 2 weeks to go Flight cost for a 25kg FCR each way was around $370.00 Plus stud fee......

I start weaning the pups on raw chicken necks and wings...mushed and crushed so pups can chew and suck them. My adult dogs have a mixed diet of chicken turkey and marrow bones as well as "BARF" never had a problem....mum also like to collect the horse poo and bring it up to the pups!!! I would seek out a better educated Vet.. I think that you don't need to think too much about what if good and what is not just use your common sence!

I have a litter of Flatcoated Retievers due 28th Sept, Maiden bitch AIed to a Swedish Imp, very excited about this litter as I think we are going to get some really nice pups! 3 weeks to go and she is rounding up nicely and just glowing!

Well the some of the babies went to their new homes this weekend, from all reports back they are doing fine and settling in nicely to their new homes...very pleased granma here :)

Aww all the puppies are growing so fast! Mine moved outside today! Thanks Goodness!! They would have been outside last week but as we have been averaging 38-42 degrees I decided it was a bit hot. Cooler weather is on its way..low 30's so they love their new puppy palace, I will get some photos tomorrow when its daytime.

Must be time for an update :) Kids will be 5 weeks on Monday. wow times flies! Photo spam warning!! We have teeth! not sharing! Sleeping as only puppies sleep! the below pic was last week. Its amazing how much they grow in such a short time..check out the difference in ears from the above pic to the below one.
