  2. WOOHOO over the 5000 i thought I'd get us over the mark this morning I reckon we can get to 10 by the end of the day
  3. Fence it off but you will need some decent fencing to keep the pup out as Staffords are very head strong and will force their way in. You can use a ping string around the garden Give the pup it's own space, in a sandpit or build a sandbox of some kind. Make sure there are fun things to do in there, bury toys or a bone and encourage the pup to dig there. The garden is probably a good spot to dig, it's soft, often muddy and has exciting things like worms in it.
  4. I've started on this years and I'm doing 2007 at the moment
  5. I can't see straight no more, the prefixes are all blending into each other and we've only scraped the surface
  6. I guess I'd better keep going if you are taking leave, someone was to hold the fort. I must have tomorrow off and bake a cake or Az... The bananas are nice and ripe and I must do a carrot cake with cream cheese icing for Fifi
  7. i'm still here but I'm having the day off tomorrow and if you don't let me, I'm calling in sick
  8. I think i entered 1000 this morning and I'm having a little rest I shall do some more after I eat and drink another cup of coffee or ten. I have a pile of journals and catadogs that go back 14 years it takes a day just to get through one
  9. They blow their coat a couple of times a year, it just depends on the dog. Mine normally lose a lot of coat from around August-October depending on the weather and they again at other times in the year if we have strange weather. The last time the girls blew their coat, I was vaccuming twice a day and the lounge was covered in hair, as were our clothes, car and anything else they touched. For much of the year they barely drop any coat. Mine are groomed daily to pick up any loose hairs. If you have a dark lounge buy a dark dog
  10. Have you spoken to the breeder of the Lab ?
  11. I really don't see this as a question to be bothering the breeder with. it is a simple question to answer. You just really like picking at me don't you? Get over it hey. Well given that the breeder has kept a pup and will be in touch with the others, she can give you a better idea of what's going on at what time when compared to the litter mates... Of course I could give the the stock standard 20-25 weeks answer
  12. These are the very questions you should be asking your breeder
  13. lamb shanks or a piece of lamb flap, chicken wings, carcass, whole fresh or frozen fish, brisket bone, roo tail
  14. How's your pup doing now after a few more days ?
  15. Ask for the info now to be either posted to you or emailed. That way you can get a head start on all the things you will need, rather than picking up dog and care booklet at the same time. You can also read through it and raise any questions with the breeder beforehand, rather than trying to do it on the day.
  16. NONE..... If you are purchasing from a reputable registered breeder, follow the diet that they advise to raise the puppy on. Feed the puppy correctly and there should be no need for supplements.
  17. What does your breeder recommend ? I know dogs are not cars but it may void you warranty/guarantee, so to speak, if you do not follow your breeders advice when it comes to your puppy.
  18. Excellent I bet he feels a million dollars too
