  2. Poodie has blue eyes Huga I want your kitchen Yours looks so homely compared to mine Loving the April pics everyone
  3. " After shower " ETA: I wasn;t going to do two but anyway " My glamorous wet hair "
  4. Couldn;t be any worse than 30 days of Poodie hell, three days of Poodie is enough
  5. Mine charges me anywhere from about $40 - $60 for my vaccs ( i don't do past the first adult booster anymore ). The price largely depends on who's doing it and how they feel on the day For that money, I've never been rushed out the door and they do the usual heart and temp obs, check the coat, have a chat about anything I might be worried about, check the pads, teeth, ears and go through the joints ( petellas especially ). I usually don't get out of a vacc consult in less than 20 minutes. I get the same service when I have a dog chipped as well, which I find surprising and not necessary but I'm happy for them to look the dogs over.
  6. Dry or semi dry your own liver I've also dehydrated chicken
  7. Gorgeous Huga I think this month will make nice photo albums for our families
  8. He needs to come for another holiday bad doggie
  9. The mail box was a not quite as intended. The flash reflected on the inside, so I over came that. But the little flap thing on the front prevented me from getting the camera flush with the box. Other than that I was happy.. I tried and I'm using my camera in manual mode now  and shall be trying that for the whole month
  10. How? I'd like to know how people becoming aware of the rights and the responsibilities under the CAA or their appropriate state legislation makes it worse for the breed. Every dog owner should be aware of what the laws are and be abiding by them. If they don't know them, it's time to learn them and how they can work for you.
  11. My neighbour kindly thanked me . He was also very gratefull that if he'd not been there, that I would have at least attempted to save his dog. The done thing these days , seems to be to turn a blind eye to everything. Lesson learnt for doing that, it resulted in an attack. I'm wondering if I should now ignore the innately aggressive behaviour and predatory actions of the dog, while it further tests the fences, including the common corner fence ?
  12. It's been reported to council, so it will also now have been reported to the DLG as per DLG requirements.
  13. "Sleep" very mundane and boring stuff and you have to do it every day
  14. Microchips come in their own individual packets. They are not administered by way or reusable needle. Any authorised chipper will implant a chip exactly the same way a vet would. If he's kept all day in the garage, he's now used to toileting in a place that is basically like your house. Build him a secure run outside, with adequate shelter and give him some fresh air, sunshine and a place to toilet other than where he lives and sleeps.
  15. I can suggest cutting all grains, preservatives, food colouring and the like from their diet and feeding them an all raw diet. Often allergies are exacerbated by what you feed your dog. Many find that the overall health and condition of their dogs improve by doing this. If they were my dogs, I'd be seriously looking to establish what they are reacting to. Without doing this, the rest of it is pretty hit and miss.
  16. I have time this month and I'm in... Given that I don't have to leave the house I've got mine for today. I need to edit and I'm off and running
  17. take a serious look at diet . do all of the dogs have the same symptoms ?
  18. Hotwyr, I try not to dwell on the what-ifs and attacks on other animals do not idicate that a dog is aggressive towards adults or children. I have expressed that I am thankfull that it was not my dogs that were attacked, given that we share a fence. We are now taking additional precautions that will cost us several thousand dollars ( even though our dogs cannot get out of our yard ) to ensure the remaining two dogs have no way onto our property. It's rendered our major run useless until we have finished.
  19. No slamming the fence, hole digging or jumping up trying to catch and haul itself over the top of the fence . So it's safe to say the dog is gone and rightly so. Our neighbourhood has returned to it's usual calm
  20. That's insane. Our clinic charges more than that for the anaesthetic alone I think it's wonderful Nice caring vet, awesome service and not had an issue in four years. ETA: another coming out in two weeks time. Last bill for canine extraction on a Stafford $161.50, just a touch over quoted amount.
