Yep, took my pics out the drivers side window. It's a bit of cool country side that has quite a steep bank up the side of the road and a steep hill. The first time I did "hey cow" with my OH in the car, we were on our way to a show and I managed to turn about 100 grazing Angus into a Sunday morning stampeed ...LOL ETA: My favourite of the day was from Justice. I was buggered just trying to work out how you managed it. It's awesome -

Yep, it's all about using your camera, having fun and hopefully learning a thing or two along the way. I can see a huge difference in my pics from this time last year, in particular my use of light. Todays pic is called "HEY COW". I like to drive down the lane and when I get to the cattle scream out the window "HEY COW". I dare you all to try it some time and it works just as well going down a highway at 100k's -
It was good until it became yet another thread about GSD's and schutzhund

Yep, they can do, I've got a bastard dog who's pushing the boundaries now and he's into everything. -
We exercise all of our SBT's together, once they are old enough to do some road work. I find an hour a day makes for a happy pack.
-
Sometimes Thank you Congrats but can you shave him and make him all smooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth ?
-
It very much depends on the temperaments of the invidivuals. We have both dogs and bitches running together. At the moment and my pack is mainly bitches that spend their days together, without any issues. Many fights are sparked over excitement, to avoid them we remove any high value toys from the yard, feed in seperate crates and maintain calm when we are getting ready to go out for a walk.

This thread is now quite disturbing I have a bit of an insect phobia -
Our club has the usual obedience classes for average Joe and then also a "trialling" class , for those who want the short, sharp trainign sessions, the long stays and the distraction. They will also work on anything that you want to as an individual and the more experienced triallers are happy to point out anything that you can work on. It's not a formal class as such and it's held after the normal classes. You might find that there is a group of owners who are trialling or working up to that point who do the same thing within your club. I used to start the classes with one dog and swap dogs half way through and then reverse the order the next training session so the other dog started first. An hour is way too long for the dog to be bored shitless, it often sours them.

I'm going to chuck a bottle on my first aid kit for the trailer. I think that could come in very handy
-
That's the first one I'd do. He was not looking that bad last time I saw him, his coat was faded but the overall texture and condition was good.
-
The condition that some owners keep their dogs in, they are barely recognisable as the breed, let alone have the capacity to get off the lounge and do a job

My Whippet can easily run down, kill and bring me back a rabbit. Hares are few and far between, so we haven't actualy had a go on one yet. The poor mans racing dog would probably chase a lure too, but I've not tried her. The Staffords will still finish any argument started by another dog, however I do not encourage mine to show any aggression at all, I do not breed for it, I think it's no longer acceptable in modern times. My Pointer is a keen bird dog, he's not gun shy. I do not have the time or the money to travel for the training involved to FT. I have had an offer from a gentlemen who actively works his dogs in the field, to purchase him, he obviously saw some working ability there.
