  1. I'm failing to see how the situation is funny.
  2. Thanks Sandy, For those who are not aware this show is on the Friday before conformation starts at the Bathurst Royal on the Saturday and Sunday. Located between Yass and Cowra
  3. From my very first pedigree dog all those years ago to the one's that are here with me today. I've never had one come from a breeder who didn't ask questions or care about where their puppies or adults went. I walked away from about 2 years ago, who was happy to put everything on the main register and didn't care what you did with the puppy after that.
  4. Honesty I don't get offended if they ask the price or basic questions but I would at least like you to use your name ( don't even care if it's just your first name ) , drop the :D text speak and maybe pop a please in there somewhere.
  5. I will reply back with the basics of a puppy costs x on the limit register ( not for breeding or showing ) comes wormed, vaccinated, micropchipped and Dogs NSW registered. Puppies are are ready to leave for their new homes at 8-10 weeks of age. It doesn't mean they will get a puppy but I've found over the years I've wasted my time with extended responses.
  6. well there's the clue that you need to run a mile from that one. all on the main and $2000.
  7. I'll get a copy to post here rather than keep typing it out :D
  8. I'd prefer that more ethical registered breeders used the trading post, other websites, notice boards and the local papers.
  9. Not until the 12th Feb It's in Dec's journal, apparently the gazettes online are down. Let me know if you need the schedule
  10. Actually it's pretty poor form yet again by those who are anti-LDH management. I'm sure there's a legal word for it and whatever it is LDH management have not put up with such tactics in the past and I doubt they'll bend to these tactics either. Thanks to the actions of some in rescue the LDH have shut up shop when it comes to rescue and who could blame them.
  11. I raced out while the egg and bacon pie was in the oven and was a bit limited as i had to make do with one lens I couldn't pick tonight, so apologies for the three
  12. umm, i dont want an older dog, i want a pup. Then you will just have to wait until your yard is a safer place for a baby puppy.
  13. Nothing wrong with that mating. If the parents of are good type, they are sound and are of good temperament , then it gets the from me. ETA: there are some stunning examples of the breed that are much closer than that mating. A gorgeous father/daughter mating comes to mind, that cemented years of work.
  14. 3mls to 100 of water. Have now been using that as my ear cleanser for about three years. ETA: by a clear plastic sause bottle and make it up in there. It's perfect for doing ears.
  15. Why pass your problems onto someone else ? He's dog aggressive and has snapped at two children, that hardly makes for a good rehoming candidate. Deal with it yourself with the help of a behaviourist or PTS
  16. with open arms ETA: willow, that laid back slap happy puppy would probably be no good in the ring, especially if it's a Stafford. One of the things i'm looking for in a show dog , aside from conformation, is that outgoing , naughty, pull your jeans and total chaos puppy. I've generally found that the puppy that you can't insult, makes the best in the ring.
  17. Brett can act like I've been gone for a week, he does a similar thing, he taps me on the back of the legs and ankles and licks my feet ( which I hate ). Rather than send him away a discourage the interaction, I put his lead on and do five minutes of training. I find that he'd very eager to please at that time and also by the time we've done it, he's settled right down.
  18. My attempt today = fail I do love this tree but it's three houses over and I can't get close enough or get rid of the sheds etc to capture it how I'd like to.
  19. Corn cobs are very dangerous. I go so far as to take them directly to the bin outside after we've had corn on the cob, just to be on the safe side and to ensure none of the dogs raid our kitchen bin.
  20. GSD's are "working dogs " and Danes are in "non sporting "
