It's poor practice on behalf of the clinic to allow dogs off leash and cats out of cages in the reception area.

Yes but the little fish come with rego papers, microchips, a paper trail, vet records and they are very easy to find and stomp all over.

Ours are the same price for a pet dog or bitch.

I can't get past the admission of "misconduct " within it's ranks... So just what did this RSPCA employee do that screwed the case and got him/her sacked ? I very much doubt if the case had been won , that this person would have been sacked, I'm sure the RSPCA would have been celebrating it's victory, no matter how it came about. The ability to turn a blind eye, let corruption run rife and play by your own rules, came back to bite them on the rear end in this case.
-
How can you be above their scrutiny ? They play their own game by their own rules. I have nothing to hide in my home and my dogs are very well cared for, but if they wanted to screw me over, they sure as hell could.
-
There aren't any further details, just that the RSPCA turned up with a warrant and were given whatever they required. I guess it will come to light soon enough, when they rock up on some poor breeders door step, with 20 people, camera in hand and start seizing dogs. Surely dogs VIC would have had the balls to give whoever it is the heads up.

:p ;) ;) I hope to Dog whoever it is has money and a good lawyer.

Eye Ointment Application
WreckitWhippet replied to Mad about Oscar's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
What she says and also don't stress about how you apply it, as long as you get some in the eyes it's fine. -
Easy when the RSPCA is corrupt to the core
-
How about lending a bloody hand when times get tough. They are supposed to be about the "prevention of cruelty ". One has to wonder just how far spread and entrenched the miscounduct is.

Sometimes it won't load for me either and if I hit refresh it comes up.

Whenever I'm ready to go. It's usually about 10ish and it's the same for all of the dogs and pups Left the aircon on last night, usually leave the ceiling fans on low in summer.

Yeah lambs fry. I don't think you;ll have problems with it in the short term ( like a few weeks ) but me thinks QLD weather can grow moulde on just about anything LOL
-
I do a couple of livers every month when showing. Just make sure it is crunchy. I've not had it go off or rotten and it's sat in my trailer for a few months in containers but I don;t know what QLD weather will do to it, maybe check it every week or so
-
well bugger the biscuits make some liver treats. get a nice fresh liver and boil it, until the bloody stops running and it goes firm. Cool it and then slice into super thin slices. Pop a bit of oil on and oven tray and wipe it around, place liver on there in single layers and bake. It will go quite brown when cooked and will be starting to turn crunchy. You can pop a tiny bit of salt on it, but you don;t need to. Let it cool on paper towel and then put in an airtight container. If you cook it for long enough and it goes crunchy when cooled, it will keep for ages. ETA: you only need to oil the tray once lightly and it will be fine for the rest of the batches
-
Or just buy them some smackos and the salt will take care of them I shall cook some over the weekend so I can work it out for you. I'll even add the eggs. LOL
-
Forget the cooking, you could kill the dogs LOL
-
about as helpful as my attempted conversions
-
Buggered if I know :p I'll have to find the recipe ( I know it's just two ingredients ;) ) and see if I can work out the ratios ETA: my calculations could be way off but it would work out 2kg's to 500grams and if you added eggs you'd need more flour. That would make a lot of bickies as they are quite thin, you'd be baking for a whole day.

Have you tried corn flour and pureed liver ? opps i should say i do blend the liver to a paste and mix the rest in Is corn flour better then flour? Yeah, it makes them hard and flat and not like a cake ( unless you like the cake style ) :p A better option for putting one in a pocket and breaking it up as you go along

Hopefully good news for the Cav owner. Fingers crossed for the lady in Taree. It sounds like her concerns could be easily addressed, hopefully someone will be willing to help.
