  1. Yep they certainly do, save the life, rake in the money and the destroy the dog. Show me the stats. I have heard so much bad press about the RSPCA, please show me the statistics so I can make up my mind. We can start with Clifford, he earned them thousands of $ in donations and when he was no longer usefull, he suddenly developed a temperament issue and couldn't be rehomed. They put that poor little dog through hell to keep him alive, so they could rake in the donations and then the RSPCA killed him.

  3. You have to pay to lodge a complaint, depending on the state. It's helps to cut down on the malicious and vexatious complaints.
  4. Which state ? The rules and regs and the COE's are listed on each state CC's website. If you want to know what should be included in a letter of complaint call the CC involved.
  5. I think the person who suggested the peta freaks should be neutered , is right on the money.
  6. Given that the OP is not liable for the vet bill, I wouldn't be worried about how big it is.
  7. I've had a kenol for years and years, I don't use it anymore but it was a very good box.

  9. As far as I know that was old news around New years. I'll double check tomorrow for you. Everywhere in the Central West has had cases this year.
  10. I offer the "easy out" to anyone with one of my dogs, so far no one has sent one back. I prefer to offer to take one back than find out that one of mine has been dumped in a pound. Thankfully that hasn't happened either. ETA: I'd like to think that I have selected puppy buyers that are in it for the long haul, not the throw away owner. I think all of my puppy buyers and those who I have rehomed to are committed, but I understand that sometimes life doesn't always go to plan and if they need help, then I'm here.
  11. I had one last year congratulate me on a place win at a Specialty and then in the next breath basically tell me that my dog was no good and she knew the judge was going to put up "that type". Why bother in the first place, if you didn't mean it.
  12. What's the point of a hollow congrats. I'd much rather go and have a chat with someone who has a nice dog or bitch after judging and tell them how nice it is and congratulate them.
  13. All you can do is to write a letter of complaint to Dogs NSW and send that along with a stat dec regarding the date of purchase, how you paid and any receipts you may have. List all of the dogs detais las best you can including pedigree name, DOB and microchip number. The papers actually belong with the dog and those papers should have been sent straight away. The breeder must also provide you with vaccination certs and they are also bound by the Companion Animals Act to send you a change of ownership form for the microchip. They only have 14 days from the time the dog changes hands to get that change of ownership form into their local council. If you want to take it further, send a letter of complaint to the breeders local council, regarding the microchip and the date the dog changed hands.
  14. I'd be happy to give you my number, I will be around when she's due to whelp and I can always call you back, as STD calls don't cost me anything.
  15. No games, no fun and no talking during toilet stops, other than using a toilet command and a " good boy" when he's done. Remove all toys from the yard before bed time, so there's nothing exciting to do when he gets out there at 2am.
  16. Yep, my experiences suggest the same and in particular the foods they eat. I've got one boy who was fed an combination of dry and raw, he always preferred the raw and we made the switch about 12 months ago for him. His eyes cleared up ( they used to get runny and he's have sleep in them in the mornings ), his skin really good, teeth are are excellent condition. I gave him two days of dry when my meat man was late and he was back to having sleep and runny eyes almost instantly. It's taken about three weeks of being back on all raw for things to balance out again and his eyes to return to normal.
  17. I've been lurking and waiting and waiting some more Love the new site
  18. I would love to but I'm in the wrong state. There's nothing like a bit of moral support and having someone there to make you a cuppa. There's sure to be a DOLer who can help out.
  19. Clean Canines. I think you really get what you pay for when it comes to grooming. If you want someone to spend the time and do an excellent job, then you need to be prepared to pay for their time and expertise
