Bidding Madness Riles Locals At Blacktown Pound
WreckitWhippet replied to Steve's topic in In The News
Unless their is mandatory desexing before rehoming of all pound dogs, it won't matter if they are tendered, sold, given away or otherwise. The BYBer's, the puppy farmers will still pay their money to bring home whatever takes their fancy. Don't get me wrong, I don't support the tender system and think the system of sale at a set price, is equally as useless, if dogs, bitches and puppies are rehomed entire. -

That tender system is no different to the pounds that offer up the dogs at a set price. First in the door and first to lay the money on the table gets the dog. -
Yet another animal killed in the RSPCA's care. love your work ;)

What Dood Is Best For My Labrador
WreckitWhippet replied to Jodielass's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
You could try a quality dry such as Royal Canin, Eagle Pack or Artemis. The raw food could include chicken wings, necks, carcass, lamb necks, flaps ( but they are fatty ), rabbit, whole oily fish such as mackeral, roo tail. Reduce the amount that is being fed, cut the treats to a minimum and increase the amount of exercise she does. -
Horse Supplies Direct have them and I think that Pet Network do too

I cry when Pood owners bring their dog in for grooming and say " don;t make it look like a Poodle " FFT is the only way to go
-
Cakes has an awesome tail, it's super tight and curly. I love it
-
Pugs should have a double curl tail, it's one of the hallmarks of the breed.
-
I already beat you to it I did a Toy on Friday... His name was Roger and he was delightful and the owner liked his FFT done , so he looked like a Poodle

Dad Says Owners Should Insure "dangerous Dogs"

That bit says it all -
all in one What in the hell is a "gay" dog, apart from a happy one. Brett humps anything that moves, boy or girl, so he could be one
-
He's now at the age where he's teething, they have sore gums, get a bit depressed and can go off their food. Cut his meals in half, feed him and give him 20 minutes and if it's not gone, put it away until the next meal time. No treats, no bones, no snacks, until he learns to eat the meals you put down for him. Quite frankly, you are obsessed with everything that goes in the dogs mouth and worry too much about it. The pup will not starve itself, it won't stop growing or become deformed because it misses a meal here and there. You are providing quality foods Relax a bit. Meal times should be the happy time for you and the pup/dog. It's the time that you reward them for being a mate and they get something from you, the master.

There's plenty of very black brindles on the limit register available.

Rspca Shelters In Uk To Turn Away Unwanted Pets And Strays
WreckitWhippet replied to gillbear's topic in In The News
I recommend that people looking for a rescue, adopt from ethical rescues. A dog still gets saved, it's just not a dog from the RSPCA -

Looks like someone forged some papers -
If a judge really wants to stand back and look at a dog on the stack, they will wait for the handler to stack it. My advice is, if you get one that's going over your dog before you've stacked it, make sure you do not stuff it up on the move
-
I doesn't bother me or the dogs. Mine all walk into the stalk, have their heads collected and one front foot adjusted before the judge gets to them. They can be going over the front end of the dog and I can place the back at the same time.
-
Nope, my experiences have all been good, the dogs have all been happy and healthy.
