  1. LOL TH KC's reply was that they have blue dogs being exhibitied there with black noses.
  2. you forget. they took every single one of them debarked or not was my understanding. No they only took the debarked ones. makes you laugh doesn't it ( well not really ) but the dogs were apparently in such danger that they needed to be seized immediately, yet they left dogs on the property. The debarked one's must have been the one's without food, shelter and water :D
  3. My double trolley came from Petnetwork about 8 years ago. Apart from one pin popping on it, I've had absolutely flogged it to death, pushing it around show grounds full of gear and it's still in excellent condition. I've not been kind to it at all. C-crate trolley are worth every cent, even if they are heavier. Mine is well over 12 years old and I've been equally as unkind to it. Apart from some dirt on it, it's s till like new.
  4. What do you want us to do Steve ?
  5. I would have removed the dog from the fence too, but in a manner that didn;t get me bitten. I'm anti dogs in front yards
  6. To me she's heavy, throatie and overall lacks any real class or style, but I guess it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, as long as you and your breeder are happy with her. What is one persons cup of tea, won't always be the nexts. You could do worse.
  7. ahhhh - hahhh. Shows how much attention I pay to the LR papers
  8. what else can we do to help Judy put her life back together and how many $ will it take to pay the RSPCA for their "care" of Judy's dogs. I hope that Judy is free to talk about what the pack of a-holes did to her and the dogs, that's if she's up to it. I wonder what happened to that vet ?
  9. This could make a huge difference to people's lives and their animals.
  10. I've only just seen this one Given what I do and where I work, this might be more my cup of tea, rather than the rental group.
  11. Even if you have a prefix, you must have the kennels name registered as a business name to exhibit that way. I can't enter a dog under "Warley" even though that's my prefix, they must be entered under the personal name. I exhibit a bitch who was bred by Argowan and is owned by Argowan Stud , she is able to be entered that way.
  12. Geez, you're pretty quick off the mark, given your baby is just 8 weeks and yet to mature.
  13. I've printed one and I'm ready to roll
  14. I thought it was on the website but can't find it. If anyone can point me in the direction of the Dog NSW Limit Register acknowledgement form or provide me with a pdf , that would be wonderful.
  15. yes, become a member, do the exam and apply for a prefix.
  16. RSG, I'm curious as to what conditions would cause this? I had a shih-tzu/JRT cross who barely wore down her nails even though she was very active and was walked daily. basic anatomy of the foot and pastern, the nails fail to come into contact with the ground.
  17. I think in my line of work I would see a typical representation of the little mongrel cross bred Maltese Shih Tzu, I see them from pet shops, BYBers and the puppy farms. I can't say I've seen one yet with decent conformation and I'm not talking about blue ribbon winners, just a basic well put together animal, that can function. I am yet to see one with a front end that is not east/west. I'm not talking about dogs that toe out but the whole front end turns out. They have popped elbows, some have fronts that would be classed as deformed. Very weak from the pastern, going into very flat splayed feet. Moselle, you might not think this matters much, but when you can't hold a dog by the leg to run clippers down it , due to pain not fright, then there's something very wrong. I've seen them dragging their toes on the move. They fail to wear down their nails at all. Most owners would expect some natural wear in any breed, but this doesn't happen with this particular cross. I'll by pass the wry mouths and deformed jaws, because the dogs can still eat. Perhaps the things that scares me most is their patellas, you can feel the knee caps on many popping in an out, by simply lifting their back legs. It's frightening and I'd say that 50% of the dogs I see are like this. Some might see a robust little dog, typically I see a disaster on four legs.
  18. For me these would be the most basic of basics for all dog owners 1. adequate fencing 2 shut your gates 3. walk you dog on leash, unless it's a designated off leash area.
  19. An unfair statement, such a comment is akin to saying that a child from mixed parentage is horrible, you cannot generalise. umm nothing alike at all, dogs are not humans cross those two breeds and conformation goes down the toilet, I agree the vast majority are horrible
  20. yep and they are still mongrels it was nice to revisit my pics of that gorgeous dog at the show :D Since this thread started I've returned to work part time and I can tell you I haven't missed the front ends so bad it make s clipping them difficult, the protruding jaws, bad temperaments and clicking patellas Technically they are F1 (first cross) crossbreds. :D ummm yeah, providing the parents were actually purebreds

  22. More rangers to implement the laws we already have, and/or to place articles in local newspapers, give community talks etc? But then it comes down to council allocated money. Hard question. Will ponder a bit more. I'm not so sure if more are required. There is currently a mixture of those who don't do their jobs and hardly ever police and hand out fines and the over zealous. I'll have a think about this during the day.
  23. oppps due to following the link I just left a smart remark in your auction thread
