Cats like to wander, but surely if you loved your cat, you would want to try and keep it from straying , for safety's sake. I bet cat breeders have special runs for their cats so they don't wander or get harmed.

So sorry for your loss Rozzie,at least you can take comfort in knowing that you rescued him from such cruelty, and gave him the best life RIP Mandrake
