So what is your opinion Samoyedman? I can't recall dogs being as agressive as they are today, compared to when I was a child.
-
I agree skelp2, dogs should be dogs not exhibitions, surely these people could use their talents in better ways.

When in doubt don't do it, like they say with food you are not sure about, when in doubt throw it out.

Best wishes for Bailey, and I hope he gets well real soon.

What Should Happen To Dogs Brought Into The World By Byb?
milly2 replied to skully's topic in General Dog Discussion
Unfortunately it looks as though nothing will ever be done about puppy mills or byb, we just have to hope that the people that don't know any better, that buy these dogs, will love and care for them. I think councils have a lot to answer for I think they should do regular inspections of properties to see how animals are being treated and if there is byb going on,and desexing should be made law for pet owners. -
Just letting you know that the listerine yellow one, baby oil, and water in equal parts, did help my daughters dog with its hot spots. I'm not suggesting that it will help all dogs, but it might be worth a try.

I give my dog a half teaspoon of garlic granules in her wet food, and she seems to be ok, and also she never suffers with fleas.

After searching for help for my daughters dog that suffers badly with hot spots, I came across this and thought that it may help others who's dogs have this problem, she hasn't as yet tried this, so don't know how it will go. I think its worth a try though. http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2012/07/23/home-remedy-for-hot-spots-cheers-chihuahua/

So sorry to see your beloved, Ricky has passed on, RIP Sweet Ricky.

Bloomin scary, very sad that the dogs have to die this way but also worrying that todlers might pick up these balls. The mindless scum that do these things should be PTS, but then again that would be too good for them.

Lovely story, saw on telly about that little dog and it looks like one of the cyclists has adopted him, thats great.

Homeless People In The City With Dogs
milly2 replied to samoyedman's topic in General Dog Discussion
I think its lovely that the homeless can find it in their hearts to look after an animal, and maybe the pet owners could be given brushes, along with pet food for their dogs. I hear a lot of dogs in suburban back yards barking and crying of the cold at night that are most likely not looked after as well as a homeless persons pet. -
Poor dog probably doesn't know what he is meant to be now.

Boredom Buster For Multi Dog Household
milly2 replied to TheCheekyMonster's topic in General Dog Discussion
Maybe you could try hanging some balloons full of water on the line to see if that would discourage him, or some old unused clothes with some kind of spray scent on them that dogs dont like. -
Glad to see the horse was finaly saved.
-
How very sad poor owner, would be devestated.

She must be the only one that Idolises Julia at the moment

Poor dog would be much better off with someone that would care for and love him properly.
