Can I just say - as a dog showing 'new bee' I really enjoyed this show, the extra effort with raffle, spinning wheel, lovely sashes etc certainly made you feel welcomed. THEN at the end while I was packing up a lovely gentleman came around handing out the certificates! How good was that? Thank you to all involved, you deserve a big pat on the back! Especially under the stress of the 'water' ;) I have only been showing since August and should say this was the best I have attended.

I think the puppy in Group 5 was the ACD

Besides the trailer in question, what is a ball park price you would pay for a nice trailer?

Good grief, I am new here and new to showing. But feel like I am back in a bitchy school yard! Cannot believe what I am reading here! I am one of those ' bad' people who showed today! From about 8.30 am we had a lovely breeze through KCC park. I won BoB without much competition, so shoot me! I had a great morning helping a couple of others who didn't have their usual helper, I ended up showing a few other dogs, and grateful for the experience. All but one ring outside were pulled down and packed up by 11 am. Yes it was hot, but once I got in my car to come home the temp said 37 deg I was home by 11.30. never did I see dogs or people staggering around as someone said earlier. What I saw was a dog show with emphases on keeping cool as possible, and getting finished ASAP. Done successfully .

O yes it was, 44 degrees in Mentone where I work Gee narky much, obviously the heat gets to you !!!!!!!!!! You said it was 44 in Mentone, not where you live 10min from KCC. I have been using the 4 links I posted on page two. Please learn to read, i said it was still 44 degrees at home. Wow, rude much? Your original post said you work in Mentone and it was 44 degrees there, such a shame we are not all mindreaders and didn't know where you lived.

Well, all things considered - I will be there this morning, my dear dog is the first on in his group at 9am, ( old time 8am) we travel less than 10 mins he travels in the seat next to me with aircon on. But, if he was lucky enough to win BoB they would have be judging mighty fast for me to stay any later than about 11. - 12 noon. Otherwise I will be picking up my things and heading home. So according to these posting you must all think I am just about the worse person in the world!

A new bee at showing dogs and first timer on this forum, I was amazed at last night show! Great atmosphere, and so many people! What a community the dog people have! Heading there again tonight, I would like to thank the very friendly helpful people over the last few months who have shown me the way, for many of you, your efforts were beyond the call of duty!
