  1. Yes I'd use photoshop. Create a base layer the size you want your finished image to be, then each additional image as a layer (including the blank bit for your text) so you can position them how you want.
  2. Depends on if you can resize the pic, or if you took it especially so there is some blank space you can overlay something over to use for text.
  3. You've obviously never lived with pugs - they'll finish both bowls then come asking for more
  4. Off topic, but I see forcing children to eat vegan as a bit cruel. No party food at birthday parties, no eating over at friends houses, no canteen lunches, no swapping lunches at school. Why not introduce them to a variety of foods, give them all the info and let them choose if they want to be vegan when they are old enough? Forcing something on a kid is a pretty good way for them to automatically not agree with it.
  5. You seem like a very normal vegan, I met one once and she once a few sandwiches short of a picnic that's for sure. You try getting hospital food right for a vegan, a strict very picky one at that. Holy baloney! did you feel like just saying to her, "do you want to eat or not?" She pretty much just lived off veges and salad sandwiches, unfortunately public hospitals don't really cater for chick pea and tofu lovers I'm vegetarian and I can't stand tofu :p
  6. My co-worker, who ordered a day or two after me, got her CR order today and I still don't have mine I might need to have a caramello koala this afternoon to console myself
  7. Saffron On The Hill - http://www.thehill.org.au/ (my fave pug rescue!)
  8. Your item was processed through our ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) facility on October 23, 2012 at 2:39 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination. I think mine must be kayaking across the ocean
  9. My male pup went through a period of peeing on beds and lounges, when he did it he was "punished" in the usual method I use, which is being ignored or put outside for a few minutes. For him, being ignored is the worst thing in the world so he learnt quickly that peeing in those places wasn't getting him what he wanted (attention, or whatever). Attachment is a good method, but given the opportunity he's still going to do it so you need to train him not to, using whatever normal "punishment" method you use. For cleaning, I use a vinegar /water mix and put the lounge in the sun (if you can!)
  10. What about some pugs - they will probably be about the same size as your little slug by then lol
  11. That means it was super effective, she bypassed the yawn and went straight for the sleep
  12. I have ADHD - I save my limited attention span for topics that interest me  Plus the abstract is meant to tell you the basics anyways, to let you know if you're interested in reading more. I wasn't. So I didn't.
  13. Whey comes from milk, not meat protein. Vegetarians can eat Whey protein. I know because I did :) ETA Sorry, I meant alternative sources of protein and not vegetable sources. Corrected now :) Yes, but vegans can't, it's still an animal product. If you want to get reallllllly technical, only lacto-ovo vegetarians can eat dairy, not all vegetarians do  Ahh, but human Vegans mostly choose not to eat Whey protein powder for philosophical reasons. I don't think dogs have a problem digesting milk protein (I'm not talking about Lactose). Dogs don't have philosophical reasons; only their owners do  LOL I know, but if we're talking vegan diets in dogs, we're talking vegan diets in dogs :p
  14. No idea, I'm not a cat person and have never owned one. Perhaps if you're interested you could do some research :) You asked taurine, I answered taurine. Ummm, did you read the study I posted????? No, because the summary said they were cooking the taurine, and I have no interest in cooking the taurine, so the study wasn't really relevant. But if LisaCC is interested then that's good and she could read it. Plus I don't care about cats, I'm allergic to them and don't know anything about them, and don't have any.

  16. to tell the truth, I think they were eating duck poo  Pffft, don't ruin a good story with the truth :p
  17. lol Kirislin, those photos look like something Boston, my pug would love to join. He rips up the long grass and munches on it. His nickname is Farmer Joe because he always has the really long bits hanging out the side of his mouth, like a stalk of wheat or something

  19. I gave Mini a chicken neck and she pretty much swallowed it whole and then threw it up a few minutes later. Never again. Mine do that, then they eat it again. Sometimes they'll go for a second regurg if they aren't yet satisfied. Nomnom
  20. In powder form they would absorb the nutrients.
  21. That wasn't your original post - your original post said another source apart from meat didn't exist. I merely stated another source does exist.
  22. Yep ;) I'm just a lurker in this thread, I have no idea about any of these!
