  1. I dunno. For my part I always find serious allegations of wrongdoing so much more convincing when presented incoherently, with no attention to spelling, grammar or you know, evidence. There's just something which makes you go "hey, that accusation is all over the shop, they must have a point". Really. The low post count always adds to the convincing nature of the claims!
  2. We asked on facebook, and they said no. Someone copied their response into this post
  3. But not if its pedigree, is that right? That's why I'm wondering about rescues, and if they only rehome pedigree dogs, or how they get around BSL.
  4. If you buy from the "what ships free" section, you don't pay shipping, but if you put other things in your cart then you pay shipping on those things. So it's up to you if you want to buy things that don't ship free or not.
  5. Totally agree. My beautiful Cougar is from them & she is just so sweet & nice natured. About the weight, Cougar is an older lady & weighs 17kg, but I have put her on a diet, as I don't want to put strain on her legs by being overweight. How do you go in VIC with the BSL and a rescue? Are they papered or have they passed some sort of "test"? Or are the council people able to come and knock on your door at any stage and take them? (genuine question)
  6. I was just thinking of something similar, but I was going to suggest writing F@#k off loser. I think your suggestion is better. Or answering their question ... "yes, there is something scary in there..." And see if that freaks them out!
  7. I use the sporn mesh front on one of mine (same but without the collar part as she's as pug) and it's really No different visually to any other harness, so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to use it at training. They probably wouldn't even know what it was.
  8. The tracking number is in the shipping email they send you
  9. Woot! Checked the tracking this morning and it arrived in Australia today! Must have been because I ordered again yesterday Oh well, I don't think my pugs will complain about extra toys!
  10. Why were mel's posts deleted, were they untrue?
  11. Awww, that's so cute! Obviously some emotional attachment there
  12. The dog my ex kept is half JRT and perfect in every way, shape and form :D so getting another Jack would be sooo unfair on the new dog. I looooove rough JRTs too! We went to a shelter to meet one the other day and the first thing she did was snap at Barkly lol so she was a no go... We've been visiting shelters HEAPS and not finding anything so maybe I AM being far too picky?? When I walked in to the pen and saw Bam for the first time, my heart skipped a beat, the earth stopped moving and I KNEW she was going to be mine forever. Maybe that's only a once in a lifetime experience... I don't know... Maybe it is more about finding the right individual dog, not the right breed, if that makes sense? And you're allowed to be picky, this dog is going to be living with you for quite a lot time! Actually, you should be picky
  13. The package of mine that is MIA has my secret santa stuff in it, as well as toys for my pups, so I might order again. That way, if my initial order ever rocks up I have extra toys for gifts, but I don't think I'll find anything else suitble close to home before the sending deadline.
  14. Because you came into the thread asking what bad tasting thing you could put on the pup as a detterant, so when you come announcing you found something bad tasting, so it was my logical conclusion :p Glad it worked though, even if not intentional!
  15. Oh really? Maybe our toys are keeping each other company
  16. Do the CR team have a sense of humor? I'm sending them an email about my package that hasn't moved from Your item was processed through our ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) facility on October 23, 2012 at 2:39 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination. and realllly hoping they have a sense of humor, otherwise they are going to think I'm just a crazy Aussie who sends weird emails about lost and lonely toys!
  17. I use those milk sticks as a treat too (I think we're talking the same ones, blue writing with lab puppy on the front?) They do actually smell nice, but the salt content is higher than the sugar content ... and really he isnt' eatuing much of them. But if you're worried, try using fruit or veggies as treats, or raw meat. He's a pug, he will eat anything! My pugs love fruit and veggies, they also sometimes get cheese as training treats, or we use their dinner as training treats (we feed as raw mix which I make myself, raw meat/fruit/veggies/etc). You can also use non-food things as rewards, such as toys or play time, or pats, or just really happy noises.
  18. Poor things, punishing the one that didn't do anything wrong by making him carry the awful, and potentially toxic, scent of fly spray instead of just training the other dog not to do be rough with him. Umm where ps lives its a necessity to put repellant on the dogs and in doing so the pup found out it tastes yuck and therefore temporarily solved the problem. I highly doubt it was done as punishment. Oh ok, the way it was worded made it sound like fly repellent was used as a deterrent.

  20. Or at least delivery of the stuff I ordered within the first hours of this free shipping offer going live :p
  21. Technically? Yes I'd say so  Yeh, that was my thought too  I know your trying to be funny so dont take this the wrong way. These are the comments that just make vegans go, im talking to close minded fools. Degrades what is for vegans an important topic. You dont need to agree with vegans but you can show a certain amount of understanding. Fyi - I'm vegetarian. Your comment is the type that gives vegans the name of being closed minded, because you accuse everyone who isn't you of being a fool. And I'll take it as it was intended - as an insult.

  23. If vegan dogs eat their own poo, are they still eating animal products?
