  1. Is he often fed chicken? Maybe his tummy isn't liking the chicken?
  2. Oh they are cute! They sort of have an Iggy look about them.
  3. Can you not leave him outside when the washing in on the line? Or build a barrier around the washing line? Or provide a higer value treat for leaving the washing alone, because pulling washing off the line is a high value reward in itself, so you have to find a higer value one for him, like play time or training or something he holds in high regard. But the obvious one of removing him from the situation is a good one in the meantime :)
  4. Alcohol and ethylene glycol can cancel each other out - but who knows the long term effects of either of them. Ethylene glycol poisoning would have killed her, so if the treatment saved her
  5. I am and it definitely doesn't work. I get the "Page Not Found" message. Works for me.
  6. That makes sense. Minced frames aren't always very finely minced and can still have smallish chunks in them ... maybe for a while steer clear of them until he's more healed?
  7. What's the logic behind not feeding bones? I'd probably investigate more on the minced frames etc rather than go on a vets "should be ok" if he isn't allowed bones.
  8. People with low eye-sight often have issues seeing dark colours, as opposed to light/white colours too, which was probably a factor.
  9. The most hilarious part is she took out her own name, but left in intimate details about someone else!
  10. Both those names are cute! Can you wait and see what suits her when she comes home? Do you have a crate, or puppy gates/puppy pens to contain her?
  11. My (desexed) girl will knock my (desexed) boy over when he lifts his leg sometimes to move him out of the way so she can lift her leg on the same spot So he only gets to do half his wee and has to go find somewhere else to finish because she took over. Often she gets pee on her head in the process lol
  12. Just don't get one with a microphone or you'll never get a moments peace
  13. Oh, I should say mine was taken on my Samsung galaxy S3. Always forget to add that to my post!
  14. Are you a breeder? If you're looking to import a dog for new breeding lines ... are you going to breed with the dog in question?
  15. I have trouble with this as when out in public, if they jump up people pay attention to them - even if I ask them not to. But at home - when they jump up they get no attention from me (not even to be told to get off or sit) but the second they get off they get showered in attention and treats and happy noises. However, I have pugs they easily pleased. But that's the basic concept I use.
  16. ... with Steve and her husband?
  17. Nice! I'm thinking "Pu$$y Galore" might be a bit much  Puppy Galore!
  18. Boston's and pugs look nothing alike. But my male pugs name is Boston :)
  19. Could it be the "snuffling" LOL?? Sort of serious question. I think it really is the noises. And the fact their eyes are often looking in all sorts of weird directions
  20. My two pugs often don't get very welcoming receptions from other dogs, they prefer to play with other pugs most of the time. It would be interesting to see how Roxy goes with other Boxers. But if she doesn't meet other dogs very often, there might not be a huge oppurtunity to play. Usually othe dogs out walking on leads can't really play, and if one or two friends dogs don't like her, it might not be her, it might just be them! If she's okay off lead (has good recall etc), maye try her at a dog park and see how she goes? Sometimes with my two pugs we go to the dog park and they don't play with anyone, some dogs will sniff but no play happens and I feel sorry for my girl coz she loooooooves chasies. But sometimes the other kids just don't wanna play lol
  21. Ah, get rid of the iron. What kid ever rushes for the iron

    Lion Hunt

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/world/labradoodle-shaved-to-look-like-a-lion-sends-residents-in-us-town-into-a-panic/story-fnd134gw-1226550936767 A LABRADOODLE shaved to look like a fearsome lion caused panic in a US town with concerned residents calling 911 fearing a jungle cat was on the loose. Three people called emergency services in Norfolk, Virginia earlier this week to report a lion was wandering the streets. One caller told 911: "There was a lion that ran across the street – a baby lion. It was about the size of a Labrador retriever," the Virginian-Pilot reports. Another caller said, “I don’t know if it got away from the zoo or what.” After a quick call to the Virginia Zoo, who assured authorities all their animals were safely locked in their cages, police discovered the mystery lion was in fact a dog. Not just any dog, but Charles the Monarch, who has his own Facebook and Twitter pages after his owner Daniel Painter shaved to look like the lion mascot of nearby Old Dominion University. Charles the Monarch has more than 4,700 Facebook fans and is a regular at Old Dominion games where he poses with fans. And it's not the first time he's been the subject of a frantic call to police. Mr Painter told the Virginian-Pilot people often run to their cars in shock when they see Charles the Monarch walking around, especially near the zoo. "I tell people he's a Lab-a-lion, and half the people believe that," he said.
