You mean like the big link she has to here, showing big pics of the leathers? http://ruthlessleather.com/ruthlessleather_combos.pdf

A lot of breeds glue or tape ears to help them set properly, especially during teething when they go crazy for a while.

Plus if the dog is undesexed the new owner pays for desexing, but it doesn't mention when the desexing is actually done. All the animals listed on Pet Rescue have basically the same blurb written about them, it's a generic profile that's almost word for word the same for dogs, cats, horses and birds, which is a worry. -

Wonder how many of them were actually woolies shoppers in the first place, and apart from a day or two of noise will carry through with their boycott  -
How Often Do You Have To Cut Your Dogs Nails?

My girls dew claws never touch the ground, they are halfway up her leg! Luckily my boy doesn't have them, so that's one less drama to worry about. -
British Bulldog Ear Gluing

Hi Sheena thanks for your reply. Yes it does have to be done fairly young. Unfortunately my breeder is no longer breeding BB How old is your pup? It looks pretty young, surely you can still go to your breeder and ask them for assistance? -

The fact that it tugs at the heartstrings by using the word "rescue". -
Are you suggesting that people with shedding dogs are not house proud? Seriously, if your first criteria for a dog is that it shouldn't shed please get a stuffed toy and stay away from real dogs. My breeds, for one, should not be in the hands of the 'house proud' because you'll find that you'll instead spend all of your time cleaning up the leaves and sticks they bring in on their non-shedding coats. I spend a lot of time cleaning up after my dogs and it's not because of the hair. Exactly, non-shedding dogs are still dogs. They still play and get dirty and carry in dirt and mud and grass and whatever charming creatures they've decided to play with in the yard and proudly show off to you. Honestly, hair is probably the least of what I pick up after my dogs, the majority is grass and sticks and flowers and dirt and plants they've dug up.

where was it said that Andrew called Caesar back? I read it as Caesar ran back when the other dog had a go at him. Yeh there was no mention in the OP of him being recalled. He ran away fromt he dog when the dog attacked him (although I query the "full on attack" if the dog could whine and run away, but not the point).

The listing for The Animal Rehoming Service all have the same name and phone number, so I'd presume if you call that number you get the lady with the rehoming service. However, from their website (http://www.tars.org.au/) it makes it wonder if they ever meet and/or assess the animals they are "rehoming" and therefore things could go terribly wrong if the owners aren't honest. -

So basically they use Pet Rescue as a private rehoming service? Is that allowed? -
Just go a black, they don't shed nearly as much :D

Oh how I would love to see your home after 1 week with a fawn Pug (or 2) I have Rottweilers and Pugs - the hair drives me crazy...years ago I had small fluffy dogs and being a groomer wasn't a problem for me. Some days I wish I had fluffies again and no dog hair everywhere... Haha even after just playing with a fawn in the park I'm covered in hair! I do love that my blacks shed less than fawns, even though sometimes I wonder if it's just because of my dark clothes and furniture that I don't notice it as much

Honestly, I have shedding dogs (pugs) and don't notice a huge deal of hair because my house is designed for dogs (some intentionally, some not). The pugs are black, most of my furniture is dark coloured so I don't actually notice any hair. The lounges still get wiped down weekly. I have dark wood floors, so don't notice any hair, and most of the rugs are dark colours too. Most of my clothes are black or dark colours, so I don't notice the hair. The most hilarious time I notice their shedding is when I go to mums as she has white tiles throughout her house - then I realise how much they shed :p I'd rather brush my guys regularly to reduce some of the shedding, and most of the rest gets picked up in the usual weekly clean, rather than send a non-shedder to the groomers or fuss around with grooming/clipping/whatever myself. Oh, and they sleep on my bed, in my bed, on my pillow, so it's not like their hair doesn't get everywhere, I just don't really notice it!

Because you like your skin attached to your body, and your eyeballs to stay in your head and not be gouged out? -
How Often Do You Have To Cut Your Dogs Nails?

I'm always amazed when people say they don't have to cut their dogs nails. We don't have much cement, our place is mostly grass so I have to cut the pugs nails regularly. Plus Boston has one nail that curls under, so it needs to be trimmed even more regularly. A normal nail trim is every two weeks, probably. -
I was going to say pretty much exactly this. Even if he's only a pup, manners are important and a lack of leashes doesn't mean dogs can run up and jump all over other dogs. Not all dogs recognise the puppy licence!

Etsy is a place for people to host their shops, Etsy isn't a shop itself. There are millions of different stores on Etsy, it's like ebay (but ... really not  ) So for everyone saying Etsy isn't good, just try a different store. It's like going down the street and saying no that street isn't any good as one shop didn't have something you liked. There are heaps more shops in the street.

Dogs Seized From No Kill Shelter

Will be interesting to see the responses to that post, and how many people don't read it and just flame him for being anti-rescue / anti-Moorook without looking at the situation logically. -
The Frenchie ones are in the mens section, so might be a bit bigger than the ladies pug ones, and had more of the full Frenchie body not just the head. But I couldn't find them on the Dangerfield website, which is odd. I did see them in store last week though.

So do you think a size 6 would be big enough for a little girl size 9? Not sure whether to go for the 6 or 8. My daughter will pop her eyeballs when she sees this jumper. I'd go a size up, they are called "snug" and definitely are snug. I nearly died when I had to go for the 14 lol
-
They are in Dangerfield, they also have ones with Frenchies, as well as pug socks and pug beanies. I have the pug jumper :D Oh, and the sizes are TINY. I'm a standard size 10, but this is a 14, and it's still short.

My guys gave me an awesome, and much needed, sleep-in this morning. Even when I eventually got up they were happy to keep sleeping, so that's the best mother's day pressie from my 4 legged kids. Plus I woke up to Boston snuggled up under my arm like a teddy bear, coz he was cold

+1 I have a few favourite sellers on etsy where I get my tags, and people are always asking when I get them. My guys swim a lot, so their tags are waterproof, and not too expensive as they also somehow lose them a lot (regardles of how I attach them!) http://www.etsy.com/shop/CaliforniaKitties http://www.etsy.com/shop/HollywoodPups http://www.etsy.com/shop/CaliforniaMutts http://www.etsy.com/shop/ThePetTags http://www.etsy.com/shop/PoochTags

Good to know! There should be more awareness around it, I knew dogs could be donors but I still don't know how or if there are any side effects (or potential severe negative effects). I mean, my guys are only 12kgs so not eligible anyway, but it's always interesting and good to know.
