  1. Maybe they could chip in from their profits and put some of those towards the care for the animals?
  2. What a surprise! According to the Aldridge cult, It's a rspca conspiracy that it didn't air :laughs: They are demanding answers from the TV network!
  3. I wanted to do obedience with one of my pugs, with the view of moving into agility at some stage, but every single club in my area has training Wednesday and/or Sunday... both days just happen to be days I have dragon boat training. I love my dogs, but I don't give up dragon boat training for anything.
  4. If they need someone their own size to play with I know some pugs that would be happy to entertain them
  5. When Max was little I could set my watch by her puking, and it was always 3am. Luckily she grew out of it!
  6. I think I do love them equally, but sometimes I think I do have a favourite. Just because one is so easy and the other is such high maintenance it's hard not to feel more affection for the easy going one sometimes. And I feel guilty for that :p
  7. Sounds like a puppy surprised that he has been disciplined and is having a sulk.
  8. That's awesome. I hope the owners of "the" grooming place are there and can see how far and wide and high details of their negligence have spread.
  9. Thanks Rappie, that makes sense. I also wondered if the antibiotics could suppress the immune system a bit and allow the mites to increase. I'm no vet, but I would say that you are correct. Not necessarily allowing the mites to spread but definitely muck her system up enough for the a/b's not to have a positive effect. Gladesville Vet is an extremely good clinic, not sure if that area suits you. Alvin had to have oral ivermec and then follow up treatment with Advocate. He had to be slowly weaned on to the ivermec to make sure there was no reaction as he was on Comfortis at the same time. Gladesville vet is also very near me, I'm in Five Dock, so I'll add it to the list of potentials. I'm hoping we don't need to go the ivermec, but advocate is quite a slow process so we won't know for a while if it's working (And I'm not the most patient person in the world!) He's now starting to get little pimple things around the area, so I don't know if that's a reaction to the mites or unrelated, but I've put a bit of the antibiotic cream on the last few nights but that's all used up now. Can't be ingrown hair as the hair won't be growing back yet, and whilst the latest pic I have shows the hair loss you can't see the pimple/bump things I don't think.
  10. Excellent, good choice. Press submit before you can change your mind!
  11. I use "okay" with a hand gesture, like wave/sweep of the arm. I didn't realise I did the arm thing, but she doesn't respond to when I say "okay" without it, which is good considering the stupid generic word I accidently chose to use lol "Off you go" is another release word I use but thats more for "go feral/run off leash" rather than a general release.
  12. I think of the altered ones, I like this the best. But then I'd have even more of an ethical problem because someone else altered it for me! Except this one looks like a lot of the dogs are floating in mid-air as the proportions are wrong, so graphically it's not really one to enter in a photo comp. But they were floating in mid air. They were all going mental. lol I know, but i mean not in a good way, or like they are meant to be there :p

  14. Why do puppies go through leads quickly? I've had the same one in the whole 18 months I've had my pup, and never had an issue.
  15. Yeh pretty much this! Talk to Huga :D actually, on closer look - the second one, just because the first one has the dog on the left chopped half out of the frame.
  16. Yep, I let mine do it as they aren't hurting anyone and it's cute. Boston has to lick my finger to make sure I'm REALLY there and he's not dreaming, and Max has to run up and say hi quickly then run off and get a toy to show me, then run around me in circles with her toy but but won't actually let me have the toy
  17. Good general rule is that pups shouldn't get up anywhere they can't climb themselves (lounges, beds, chairs, etc) for the exact reason you saw - jumping off and hurting themselves.
  18. The aim with toilet training is to take him to his toileting place and make him stay there until he goes, if you wait until you see him go he will keep peeing everywhere. And toilet training without a backyard is a billion times yarder, as it's not natural for them. But breathe, he's only a baby!
  19. Maybe mention in your email your timeframe - ie: I'm looking for a puppy within the next year, or even mention that you don't have a timeframe (if you don't) so they know you aren't looking for a puppy tomorrow/next week/instantly/etc But yep, tell them a bit about you and your living situation, your current dog, what you want to do with your new pup. Let the breeder know they can contact you by phone if that's better for them (and you) as not everyone loves email ... and be prepared for some to come back with a trillion questions, and maybe no response at all. What breed are you looking into?
  20. How hard can Marks' fb password be? Once you login to his fb, just unblock yourself. shityehimhot imuntouchable bestmanevah markhasabigpenis kingoftheworld one of them has to be close?
