I'd be questioning what they told you that conditions don't become pre-existing. They may call it something different, but try claiming for something and then trying to claim the exact same injury to the same body part the next year and they won't pay it.
-
Not sure why you asked for opinions and experiences, since you don't want them  Good luck :)
-
Okay. Good luck with that :)

Do pet secure cover illnesses and conditions for life, or do they become pre-existing conditions after 12 months and are no longer covered? If your dog gets an illness that requires treatment for the rest of its life, they will cover costs for only a year, after that it becomes a pre-existing condition and is excluded. Unlike PetPlan who continue covering you.

Haha little cheeky ratbag!

I've found the dogs always help out with that one. They are usually so surprised to feel something odd that they run off, and I just have to stand there holding the string until they've run far enough for it all to come out

Good luck - Boston is 15 months now :D

One of my pugs eats a lot of weird things, and if he throws it up and then is happy/normal afterwards I'm okay and don't usually worry. If he's still a bit listless and not himself I'll keep an eye on him, but they usually tell you when they are finish puking up whatever random household item they've eaten. Unfortunately Boston never learns, he keeps eating random things. Even if I think there is nothing in the room he can eat, he finds something or pulls something off something or rips a piece of the wall off to eat, etc

Thanks for the links piper, very scary stuff, I definitely will throw the rest away & not use it again. I'm surprised your using something with an ingredient you don't know, and haven't at least googled to find out What it is

Impounded Bull Breed Put Down Before Breed Assessment In Nsw
minimax replied to BlackJaq's topic in In The News
The dog was put down because the owner failed to: a) microchip b) register the dog with Council c) claim it after 7 days I agree with mita. If the above were the reasons the dog got put down, why wasn't the other dog put down at the same time? Maybe the other dog was chipped or registered, or they were trying to locate the owners? Someone has said the other dog wasn't theirs, it was apparently at their house but belongs to someone else. -
In humans, dilated pupils that don't constrict under light can be a sign of neurological issues. If your vet has never seen it before, I suggest finding another vet or specialist. Good luck

So someone's else's dog escaped, ended up in the pound and has been adopted? Wow, do the owners know, or Did they trust their dog with their friends while they were away or something ? -
Dare I ask, is the dog blue?

Ooh, I like this one OHHH I missed that one! A washed out detective who goes to investigate the mysterious death of a young college girl found floating in a lake in Maine. Lol I put him as an Oxford university professor. Yours is more fun.

Anything is possible, unfortunately. If she doesn't have a prefix, she isn't a registered breeder, and you won't get papers. Have you contacted your states canine body about it? Edit, just realised you're the same person from the thread the other day. With the breeder who didn't know which mother the pup was from :/ Sorry things have turned out this way. You said you contacted your states canine council didn't you?

That would have to be the most unsecure security question in the world if they did!
-
How does that work for prefixes like my boys, which is Hugapug?

I have this one - http://www.oo.com.au/Pet-Toilet-Mat-with-Removable-_P36933.cfm $35 Except we use pee pads not the grass. Although my girl will pee on just the top plastic mesh stuff without the grass or pee pads if she's desperate. If any pee gets in the tray (which it doesn't often as the pee pads catch it) we tip it down the toilet, and regularly hose the whole thing off (as we have a back yard, this is just for overnight back-up and emergencies such as when the princess doesn't want to get her feeties wet in the rain  ) Oh, and if you have a male dog you might want to put something on the pee tray for them to pee against if the leg cocking instinct kicks in. We have an upturned plastic potplant thing for my boy, as he won't use it if he can't lift his leg on something.

It escaped on the Sunday. They called the pound Wednesday when they realised, but didn't visit until the next Monday (a week after it escaped)? If they cared that much about the dog, why wasn't it at least chipped? Or somewhere safe while they were away? -
Ohh international spy!
