  1. Why would you use a check chain if he works on a flat collar
  2. Try contacting the people that make the book directly - http://www.nxtbookmedia.com/contact-us/support-faqs.php
  3. $32 an hour for two dogs ($22 an hour for one, $10 extra for the second).
  4. I have a dog walker, and when looking for one the main thing I looked for was enough qualifications/experience that I felt comfortable with them having responsibility for my dogs. And if you used the fact that you are a vet as a 'selling' point, I'd score you pretty high for trustworthy points so if it's something that would fit with your lifestyle, give it a go! But as WIW said, when will you sleep
  5. Can you open the sample edition they have available on their website? That will show if your software works, and if something on your computer is maybe blocking the content. http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=1459&ParentCat=135 CR says you can download them as a PDF instead if you want, have you tried that?
  6. No... there are some 'look twice' moments in there ! :D I'm thinking there are also some photoshops in there
  7. And because too many people were taking their dogs there. And I bet they are referring to the recent attacks in cronulla, that are unrelated to the dog beach.
  8. thanks minimax....just tried that & I was still left with nothing It will unzip it to a new folder, usually named the same as the zip file or wherever you specify, so you'll then end up with two folders, one zipped and one unzipped. Your file will be in the unzipped one. You have to download the file first and save it to your computer. I have found the unzipped one, but still can't open it Thanks for your help...I feel like throwing the thing out the window. Have you got Adobe Air, the program they said you need?
  9. Photographs can lie - but there didn't seem to be bedding for him. I didn't say anything about whether he received pain relief or not because I don't know and neither do you unless you have contacted them and spoken to someone who would know. I didn't say anything about Rocky's K9 as it is years since I've had anything to do with Merna. Who knows? She may have changed. I wasn't having a go at you Katdogs; I was just genuinely surprised that you'd never seen the page devoted to Norma on Rocky's K9's website. There was quite a lot posted about it at one stage. In a photo that shows a 360 degree unobstructed view of his housing? Or one that shows a tiny square?
  10. thanks minimax....just tried that & I was still left with nothing It will unzip it to a new folder, usually named the same as the zip file or wherever you specify, so you'll then end up with two folders, one zipped and one unzipped. 11. You just need to unzip the file after you've downloaded it. Right click -> unzip (or it may say extract)
  12. It is pretty confusing, but the topics been asked and answered so often you really are best searching because you'll find all of your questions answered already, often with personal experiences from people too.
  13. Probably because you're a member of the site. If you're not you can't easily see the ad without signing up.
  14. This thread also has some good DIY ideas
  15. You can get pee trays that are much cheaper, or even make your own. When I raised my pup in an apartment I used disposable pee pads, because for me it was easier than fussing around with washing the fake grass. My pup is now almost two, and we live in a house with a yard and she's trained on pee pads and outside, which is handy for travelling etc
  16. So everytime someone comes on heat (even girls on their period) pine for sex and babies, even if they know nothing about it? That's creepy on so many levels
  17. Luckily she's adorable! Aww, and a cute video of Bo and Sunny playing https://www.youtube.com/embed/iGZ2nlkTuEE
  18. The article really is written in that negative emotive language, isn't it? Just like it's trying to make people hate the concept, even though it's not new!
  19. That is what the pugs do when they want something!
  20. So, if a dog barks from inside the house at a door knocking sales person, it would be declared menacing? If the salesperson feels threatened then yes I feel threatened by sales people, can they be labeled menacing?
  21. I know one of my pugs is not 100% reliable. I'll call her and she will stop and look at me (therefor is that responding?), but she stands there and I swear she's deliberately weighing up her options. If I get her attention again quickly before she's had too long to think, she'll come. Otherwise she gives me the finger and goes back to what she was doing. However, she is still better than the majority of dogs in our dog park.
  22. Yesterday my pug barked at a lady in the park because he wanted a treat. Sometimes he forgets his manners, but he's far from menacing
  23. I don't know about you, but I actually chew my food which will mix the foods, using my back teeth that are designed for this. Dogs can't do this. My dogs are fed food which they are required to chew
