We are expecting our first litter of standard poodles due on the 8th very excited :D

Flaxseed oil should not be fed constantly but in rotation with other oils. Really why is that? What other oils should be fed? The bottle says daily supplement. I usually have a break between new bottles as I can only get it at certain shows I go to unless I buy online. Is it ok to give to pregnant bitches?

I give my girl flour flax flaxseed oil for dogs about 8ml each night with her dinner & I also feed RC energy along with chicken wings/legs & bones. I'm extremely happy with the condition my girl is in & always get compliments on her coat condition. If we ever go into a pet shop with her we always get asked what we feed her.

I also have friends who have had great results using the rose-hip supplement they noticed huge improvements

I have this one My link Works great & you can use the dremel brand bits with it. I don't use the extension mine are fine without it.

My standard does great on royal canin 4800. She is extremely active I have tried other dry blackhawk, advance & pro plan none were any good she lost too much condition & I was feeding her double what I feed of 4800 & still couldn't keep the weight on her. She gets 11/2 cups of 4800 & minced chicken frames or a bone. I won't ever bother trying different dry again she does too well on this :)

Our ragdoll paws through the crates at the dog bowls as well even though hers is full of biscuits anyway *rolls eyes*

I might be having a puppy in the household sooner than I thought! Don't want to jinx it but a bitch I've wanted a pup out of since I first saw her has been mated. So if all goes to plan I'll have a little bundle of fluff joining the family later in the year :D
