  1. Really I didn't know this! What does it do to cats? My cat is indoor only and I never knew that and have used it before
  2. As recommended I would try something different to frontline. Whenever we have found fleas on the dogs we have put advantage or advantix on and fleas have always gone away.
  3. Feel sorry for the old man I wouldn't ever want something that horrific happening to my dogs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think it is fine purchasing a dog over the Internet unseen. So long as you have talked to the breeder over the phone first not just emails and get legitimate photos not google pics and be smart about it get references for vets or previous puppy owners. Don't just see an ad email them and hand over the cash ur just asking for trouble IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. +1 I couldn't believe they could fall for that. Too good to be true so couldn't reist?
  6. That would be me  I have a toy poodle and 2 huskies. I only just recently adopted 1 of the huskies through a rescue group and she gets on fine with my poodle They all get along with the cat as well. I am also adding a new show potential addition this year too hopefully and I think the huskies will be fine. :)
  7. I've just started using plush puppy on my sibe's and poodle and love it can't believe the difference compared to the supermarket crap I used
  8. Happened to mine too, the amount they were drinking was ridiculous, it tripled at least. As soon as I took them off it they went back to their usual drinking habits. I'm talking a few laps turned into drinking a whole bowl at a time (and begging for a refill) when most days they only drink 1-2 bowls the whole day. I wasn't happy with that amount of water consumption (and the newly required toilet trips in the middle of the night!) so they came off it. I guess it depends on the dog, but it just didn't suit mine. Yeah I am filling both water bowls up a couple times a day. Just put Coco on it to from Royal Canin so will see if she does the same thing. If it keeps happening guess we'll look for something else How many litres of water would be considered normal approx? 20-70ml/kg/day is what is considered a "normal" water intake. The 2 bowls we have hold at least 3 litres each and both get emptied min. once a day!
  9. Hope the Royal Canin suits them better

  11. Hopefully she has one in there for me Not getting my hopes up yet though
  12. I've just done a switch to Black Hawk and I have noticed coat improvement in my huskies but they are drinking A LOT more water than before and the weather has gotten cooler so I'm assuming it's the food? But if it is ok guess there is nothing to worry about.
  13. I can feel Coco's I know where it is to find it now. Cannot feel the other 2's though will have to make sure I find out where they are on next vet visit.
  14. One of my huskies has has these 3 white spots that are a small lump/bump on her nose each one is in a different spot and all 3 different sizes they are not very big though I can only just see the 3rd one. I've only just noticed them tonight so they can't have been there long as one is noticeable to the others. Should I be worried and off to the vet tomorrow? I can touch them and she doesn't care.
  15. I can tomorrow if you like? I am going to Brisbane in the afternoon to see eye doctor and drive straight past Northlakes :)
  16. Agreed. And some of us are less perfect than others ;) Thanks for posting that thread enjoyable read As for dogs not wanting the monthly tablet my dogs love their interceptor its like a treat for them they sit there wanting more  They don't like having to swallow tablets though is a mission making them swallow antibiotics.
  17. Sorry to hijack but may I ask what titre testing is and why you guys have it done?
  18. I have a fussy poodle. I have to mix her kibble with yoghurt otherwise she won't touch it previously to this I was soaking them in water put in the fridge for 10 mins and she'd eat it due to her heart I can't do the tough love with food so gotta do whatever I can so she will eat She is on RC gradually switching to Black Hawk. Just a question but do you take off the amount of kibble you feed if you add yoghurt? My dogs get a tablespoon with their dinner but I've continued same amount of kibble. 19. I will probably always have a toy poodle and a sibe so that kinda limits other breeds I could eventually own and my list is fairly big  Samoyed Standard Poodle Aussie Shepherd GSD long coat Pomeranian Finnish Lapphund Rottweiler Rough Collie
  20. There is a 18month old Golden Female at Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge http://scars.onlinemarketingcollective.com/animals/lollie_lab_8987
  21. I've had my BC puppy on Black Hawk Adult since he was eleven weeks old, on advice from a lot of people & his breeder was happy with that. He has grown beautifully Ok great thanks for that :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Well I bought a 20kg bag of Black Hawk today to see how my dogs go on it The huskies are adults but Coco is nearly 10 months is that too early to put on adult? She is on Royal Canin currently and it says to move to adult at 10 months. I always left them on puppy until 12 months.
