I hope the OP contacted a behaviourist & has made steps to resolve the issue with her dog. Sounds like a scary situation to be in on all accounts!

I changed Lucy over to it straight away. She is doing really well on it.. has a lovely soft shiny coat. People often ask me what I feed her when we go out :)

RM How did you go at the vets?

Lucy was a nightmare to brush when I first got her. She attacked the brush big time! :laugh: I just persevered.. a few quick goes a couple of times a day. She loves it now & will happily stand perfectly still for a brush a couple of times a week :)

:laugh: :laugh: Same with my Lucy. If anyone is sitting down on the floor she thinks it an invitation to come & sit in the said lap!

Yep allergy test for sure. In the mean time maybe some anthistamine to help?

Hi Emily & welcome :) I just use a normal stainless steel bowl for Lucy. To be honest I didn't know that you could get specific spaniel bowls! The wet ears don't bother me... the food in the ears do.. crusty ears are not nice :laugh: :laugh: Make sure you come in to the CKCS chat thread! And yes photo's are a MUST!

They'll get better :) When I first got Lucy (Cavalier) she was awake from around 4am. I tried EVERYTHING to get her to go back to sleep but nope if she was up so was I! :laugh: Luckily it was over Summer :laugh: I had 3 weeks off work when I got her & it was the week that I had to go back to work that she slept in :laugh: I woke up at 7am and was freaking out that she wasn't awake & thinking the worst! From that day onwards she sleeps in until I get up & let her out. Sometimes when I do open her crate in the morning she doesn't get up for another half an hour or so. Give it time :)
