I know some training clubs will use them on dogs that have different requirements, i think its also a great idea... makes it fair for eveyone. -
Great calcium! agreed, Gus gets the WHOLE thing :) dogs can breakdown bones they can break down egg shell haha its great calcium and no waste... I leave whole ones in the back yard for Gus to hunt :) he loves it. I feed raw too but I haven't fed egg shell because I was of the impression that the edible bones in the diet was enough for the calcium side of it. You don't have to feed the shell. Some dogs love it though. I normally don't because mine will only eat the shell if I disguise it, crushing it up into a powder. Plus they primarily get their eggs scrambled  I hard boil mine. What we do for our dogs eh! :D i know right, they eat better then we do !

I think Abbey would think what the hell do you expect me to do with this  lol yea Gus was like this at first... then he put it in his mouth and it craked... he was so impressed with himself, like his inner caveman was cheering.

I found it entertaining, I will hide whole ones out in the yard and gus will search for them..... to the OP there are heaps of threads regarding raw feeding you should have a gander. :)
-
nope, i crush it up and mix it in with the other stuff i've never had an issue with it, if you were really keen you could dry out the egg shell and grind it down to a powder? but i cant be bothered.

Yeap my vet recommended Linda as well, guess I will be giving her a bell, poor Gus has a terrible reaction under his arms which has left it raw and infected . -

How Did You Choose Your Breed/s?
TheCheekyMonster replied to whitka's topic in General Dog Discussion
Because it has spots and I had 2 growing up,.... its the only dog I know.... yet this i think will be my last spot for a while. -
yeah, but that comment is made to someone who was almost in tears when the ultrasound only showed one baby :o I would kill to have twins! Lol so would I, BUT! I think you start with one... wait till spud is 6-8 months or so then decide... I think you need to see how you will cope the last thing you want is a meltdown... not good for you spud or pup. ow and the OH ahah
-
Teebs.......this is what we call baby brain, your not thinking clearly... just ask yourself if you would like to raise twins instead of an only child? because you will be doing double duties.....

Do you use it? and what is a recommended brand, I was thinking of using Paw Paw cream but i fliped Gus over this morning and noticed his paws are quite dry and cracked, not overly cracked but i thought they were rough. I'm not sure if its problematic or it's fine to just leave it... Suggestions? Thank you in advanced.
