To you yes, to a lot of people who only ever hear about them no. I came across sooooo many people who wouldn't have had a clue when I was working in a shelter. Not to mention the huge amount of people who think anything with bull in the name is a pit bull. Not only that but some people believe the news like its the bible The thing that I find incredibly hard to believe, is the fact that someone would be naming a breed, when clearly they have no idea... I believe that someone who wouldn't have the foggiest is less inclined to name a breed if they don't know what that breed is supposed to look like IYKWIM. I've never seen the news (someone show me- I'd like to see) where they've named the breed and gotten it badly wrong, usually they're right on the ball* (obviously they've shown pictures or video evidence of said dog). I will admit though, that there have been cases of people who tend to say they have a certain breed, when what they have is a cross of that certain breed- *I can see where the media may choose to name only the part of the breed they like the most to up the ratings, while knowing full well, that said dog is a X of that breed. Yes, so what I'm essentially saying, is that your average Joe is probably not going to know what a APBT is, probably isn't going to accuse a dog of being one (so Joe Blow isn't a problem). I got asked if my dog was a Dingo. I was asked. Not sure of the exact date but i will say end of last year beginning of this year... there was a news report stating a APBT was going to attack a child and a man hit it over the head with a wrench and saved the day..... they showed an image of the alleged dog and it was a Bull Terrier?

My ingredient list on the actual box looks slightly different, naming the actual veggies not "seasonal selection" You patty would be better in the respect that it doesn't have any liver...,maybe i'll copy you! $17 for 12 days worth...how much did your patty supplies cost? I thought beef and liver was a no no's?? or is it just in concentrated amounts?

Well his raw food came yesterday.... and I still have 1 barrel of kibble so I will need to finish off the kibble..... 1 cup kibble with 2 spoons cottage cheese for breakfast and I am going to make my own pattys... 1 cup chicken mince, 1 egg, 1tbs omega oil and 1/2 cup pulped veggies (broccoli, sweet potato, carrot) he will get these three days a week and wings 4 days a week.... what do people thing?? does that sound ok?

Cheers - Yea when i bought Gus i got a feeding guide... but his stomach is producing some bad bad smells so obviously the kibble is not agreeing with him too much. Thanks for the advise... I will digg around a bit I know a few dals from the same lines so I will ask them what they feed their dogs.

Ow none at all if they are not necessary .... but I was wondering if there would be any benefit of introducing flaxseed oil to his diet....or something to help his stomach because his flatulence is somewhat revolting and frequent he is on Proplan large not sure if that is an ideal kibble for a dally but it is what the breeder was feeding him.... I'm hoping maybe changing to a BARF like diet may help this.

He is entire and is very active, 2 x 30 minute play session a day and 2 x 30 minute walks.... he is 6.5 months also a little on the small side... his not fat... I can just see a little keg belly developing as he has always been quite thin and did not put on weight easy up until now.
