  1. Oil from these very oily fish is good for their coats for a start. If you are worried about weight, perhaps a rotation of oil ans springwater would be good.
  2. Fish :D is my stafford's favourite. Whole fish after fishing trips, fish skin, fish guts , tinned fish of any kind. I stick to less salty kinds ie no anchovies (altho he has been known to sneak pizza crusts with anchovies smeared all over them). Krash actually goes fishing at the beach... he will spend hours rounding up bait fish in rock pools, when he catches them he flicks them out onto the rocks (we have to find them and put them back in the water...they seem ok, he uses his lips instead of his teeth...how bizarre!) I think prawns etc have cholesterol...can dogs have cholesterol probs? I guess they'd never have too many prawns or crayfish though...doh! too many $$$ j
  3. Front yard with the hose...never gets cold here so no worries about that...bit of sun bathing after a towel dry and away we go. I had a good chuckle when reading about blow dryers...staffy fur dries in about 3 seconds flat j
  4. Cows' milk can cause allergies in dogs (humans too). I think commercial puppy milk is processed to reduce lactose. It my limited experience either cows' milk or tinned food (small amounts) can alleviate constipation. Doesn't say much for either of these products though.
